If memory serves me right, that was the catalyst for the gates between east and north stand being closed after games, as there was quite a lot going off outside the away turnstiles after full time.
Bristol City, will always remind me of that first time at Wembley supporting City, been to Wembley loads of times, but that day was more than special, with all my mates, supporting my team and seeing us get a glorious win on a glorious summers day. The FA Cup Final first 20 minutes comes close, but I think that Play Off Final Day, will always be etched in my memory as why I will always support City. Even on the bad days, and there have been many, my Love for the club will never diminish, and though I get to less games now, my passion for the team remains. Saturday, I think we'll do well to get a draw, but we have to string a few results together at some stage of the season, hopefully we will get a result and the threat of relegation will ease. Haven't liked this season with Walters in charge, but I do believe in Selles we will hopefully have a manager that stays with us for more than a season.
Must have been there three times...Lost each time 0-4....Ages ago.....1-3 under PT..1-2 under PB. Think we'll do *extremely well to take a point, but hoping for better, of course. * = reverse psychology
Twine is our set piece specialist. He’s pretty bloody good at them too. He’s also a whinger and moaner who falls over too easily and seems to feign injury. Even though he’s our own player it pisses us off - and more importantly pisses referees off, so he doesn’t get decisions that maybe he SHOULD get because they know his reputation.
He made 26 appearances for us and was **** in roughly 26 of them. Even his set pieces were hopeless for us.
Guys Twine is lethal at set pieces. Scored some fantastic goals. But I do believe with his price tag he should be given us more in open play. However his free kicks are class.
I think the way City fans talk about Twine is way over the top. He was decent for us. Maybe not as effective as we hoped with the reputation he had, but he scored a few goals and had obvious quality. And he's the only player to have scored a free kick for us in years.
Agree He was a regular in a team in and around the playoffs And had like 6 goals n assists or something Its more like he got insanely overrated so expectations were unrealistic
He had enough practice, it took him multiple attempts before he managed to actually get one on target. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
