V V Saturday 8th March 2025 3:00pm Well the season is hotting up very nicely with Bristol City finding some good form and the possibility of a play-off spot achievable. There are 7 clubs-realistically fighting it out- the top four are gone with Sheff Utd or Burnley taking the second automatic spot with Leeds as champions. Back to Saturday this is a game Bristol City must win if they want to keep the momentum going and stay in the mix with WBA and Coventry sitting one point above us. I watched the Millwall game and it was great to see Harry Cornick flick the header on and then finish of the move with a goal after sam bells shot was parried away. Just a shame Liam Manning has not used him earlier in the season when goals were required-hopefully after his MOM performance he starts getting more minutes on the pitch. With reference to the game against Hull they have won three of their last six games -but noticeably beating Sunderland away 1-0 and Sheff Utd away 3-0 so they are no mugs. I'm going for a 3-1 Bristol City win with us keeping the playoff charge going. City will need to be on guard against a Hull side that can clearly beat the top teams in this division.
The pressure and expectation will start to increase as we head into the last 11 games This is a potential banana skin of a fixture with Hull needing points to ensure their survival, let's hope we're up for it mentally.
I’m coming down to this one. Hoping the boys turn it on for me and the Mrs. It would be fantastic to get a win and break into the top 6…..
Its at home but I went to Hull fifteen twenty years ago? For a 1-1 draw. We went in three limousines from the Three Lions. Arriving in Hull the locals, badly dressed locals in rags hadn't see cars before and started throwing things at the vehicles. If you know Lions types you know the Lions types would get out of the vehicles and start chasing the badly dressed locals who ran away to hide in their caves except the women who threw themselves at us.
went to Hull about 4 years ago 12:30pm kick off got up there had a great breakfast in the cafe on the road that is alongside the ground.
What absolutely ****ing rubbish some dopy ****ers talk, thick, dumb and stupid, amazing someone can be all three, behave yourself and grow up….
All signs would point to a win for your boys but for some reason we haven’t done too badly against decent sides.
You have had decent results at Sunderland and Sheff Utd -clearly on your day a dangerous side We need to be right on it Saturday if we want the points.
Here's what really happened, your lot turned up in Tractors and Combines, leaving the A63 covered in mud, after giving your boys a good hiding, we threw our women at you, and they drank all your scrumpy and relieved themselves all over your farm machinery, leaving you Wurzels to trundle home bloodied and stinking of piss.
You should seek some professional help to get that diagnosed. I have been to Hull, I will leave that there. After the game we went to Cleethorpes. A pub sign stated no drunken arseholes and no Hull City fans. Your distinguished posts make me think of that sign.
Remember the playoff final when Windy hit the goal on the volley i was directly in line with him in the crowd and i said to all around that is going in i bet if he tried it 10 times more he would never score it again. Our lot did not turn up on the pitch that day-clearly made favorites and it look like they were told not to play- . Great day apart from the result.
RR Lita left us 3 years earlier. A brilliant goal, Boom Boom missing the final, Orr getting injured that led to the worst decision of GJs tenure......moving Marvin Elliott from midfield to RB were the reasons Hull deservedly won promotion to the Premiership. RR.........I think you're confusing Leroy not playing against Brighton in the P/O final in Cardiff.
You seem to play better against the better sides-any side that beats Sheff Utd and Sunderland away is a threat-as i say we need to be on top form tomorrow. Otherwise would have a right banana skin on our hands at 4:45pm.
