Puerta Geldhart Pedro. Mentions for Macca, Joseph, Coyle, Kamara, and Altaze too. In fact I thought all of them wanted it tonight. Joseph in particular playing more out wide had possibly his best game for us. Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but City stuck at it and it paid off with a very valuable win. Good atmosphere too, so I'm happy tonight, in fact I cannot remember the last time I saw us win at home. I was away for the Cardiff victory, erm, last year. Pitch looked better too. See we had a new tractor turf spiking thing parked up outside, which is asking for trouble, but maybe that is why the pitch looks better? So enjoyed that tonight. UTT.
did not see the game but funny looking at all the votes who' s scored had the following with Coyle MOM by a mile Coyle 8.2 Kamara/Pedro 7.4 Gelhart 7.3
Puerta - calm and quick thinking. Still can’t work out why he has been on the bench so often Gelhardt - full of running, would love to sign him in the summer Pedro - held the line, took the knocks from their centre backs, was a mile offside TBH every man deserved at least a 7 out of 10, Kamara put a shift in, and the back 4 never really looked troubled …
Wasn't really a weak link which probably accounts for why the first subs weren't until the 84th minute. Puerta - ran the show Geldhart - battled, a few moments of real class, goal, obvious desire Kamara - pacy, looked dangerous, goal, winning over the critics
Gelhardt Puerta Pedro Could have been anyone last night as a great team performance. Coyle was Coyle so nuff said. UTT
Puerta.. needs regular starts to reach his best and hope hes here next season Macca....if that second shot was 18 inches lower what a screamer it would have been. Im surprisingly confident with him on our left now Pedro... we always look better with him in the side, what an energizer bunny he is and puts some of our younger crop to shame with his endless energy and commitment. Kamara, a good showing but hes way too laid back, seriously needs to be more of a nasty bastard and we want more lung busting tracking back in defence. Josephs...adds a lot to the team with his endless running and enthusiasm.Would love there to be a love child between Kamara and Josephs !!! what a player that would be.
Puerta - Ran the show, particularly 2nd half Gelhardt - Alive in the box for his goal and got some great challenges in Macca - Didn't put a foot wrong and kept trying to move us forward Important win against poor opposition on the day. Need to keep focused and aiming for that 50 point mark
First of all, let's not pretend that was like watching Brazil, it wasn't - having said that we got a job done and that was not a given seeing as how we've played this season Gelhardt Puerta Macca
Puerta, bloody hell we've missed him Macca, was brave enough to have a shot and we got a lucky rebound Pedro never stops and a great footballing brain Joseph, geldart could easily have been in my top 3
Puerta Kamara Pedro could easily have been others, well done city. Now build on a good result at weekend
3)Pedro,...... only the one cap for italy. What were they thinking. 2)Puerto......ran the show And at no.1) Mcloughlin....from 3rd choice centre back to dependable left back. You simply can not fault his drive and commitment. Nothing came down his side and was a threat going forward. Becoming a favourite.
