Lewis Skelly WTF!.. He's lucky not to be off. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get sent off AGAIN today.
HT. 1-3. Weird game. We looked so dominant for the opening 30 minutes, but have looked unusually edgy defensively and PSV could have scored a goal or two themselves - although we could have increased our lead too. There's been plenty of chances for us. We need to gain control of the game and stop making it so transition-heavy. PSV have been poor at the back, but they look threatening when they attack. Rice has been our only good CM. Partey and Odegaard been very sloppy and technically insecure. Rice is carrying us atm, we need the other two to get their act together. Lewis Skelly lucky to remain on the pitch and the referee was unusually lenient. Was good management from Arteta to take him off and bring Calafiori on, but Cala has looked vulnerable in wide areas too. Would be nice if we can gain control of the game. If they get the next goal, it becomes extremely nervy.
4-1! Odegaard! Within a minute of the restart and we've extended our 3-goal advantage. Not had a good game tonight, but that's a big goal. That goal all came from Nwaneri though.
5-1! Trossard Great link-up play but where was PSV's defence? They've been shocking all night at the back.
6-1. Martin Odegaard with a brace. PSV's midfield nowhere to be found, no-one tracking the runners, no-one shutting down the spaces and Odegaard has a free shot on goal to make it 6. Goalkeeper should probably save it, mind.
FT. 1-7. Dominant and emphatic. Huge win, especially with our injury issues in attack. A lot of good performances. Shocking from PSV though, you could see they gave up after the 5th. Body language and effort completely dipped. Superb victory away from home, though. If only we could do this in the Premier League...
