Frantic and a bit chaotic. Love what I've seen.

Also that was a hard, hard match to get through so well. As we ALL know, Birmingham are dirty......

Thought he looked solid again, and with Miggy going a decent option for the RW, probably the most skillful player we have for RW as Murphy is a bit more of a work horse than a show pony.

Been thinking about this fella, mainly as a result of AG's stupidity at the weekend. Barnes would be the obvious choice to fill AG's position for our next 3 games....I'd be quite tempted to give Osula a run out down the left this weekend against West Ham. Gordon always seems to want to come inside and either shoot, pass or cross with his right foot. Osula is primarily right footed and has been played out on the right before but I honestly think he'd be a better option on the left than Barnes. He's quick, and strong and very tenacious in the same way Tino is, and AG to some extent also. Worst case we bench Murph and start with Barnes on the left and Osula on the right and flip them over during the match and give it a go....EH has been known to do that during games with AG and Murph so why not try the same with Osula and Barnes. All is not lost I fear but **** do we need a performance against West Ham just to give us that lift going to Wembley.

West Ham is irrelevant, just get through that without injuries.

Don't think we have a squad big enough for that!

Also, I want to go into the cup final off the back of a victory to gain what little momentum we have, and for that, our best players need to play both games

We can't rest everyone, but still we need to rest at least a few.

Honestly don't care about the West Ham game, if we get a result then fine, but I don't want the first team knackered after that.

I understand, but I predict we'll lose anyway and probably lose a key player. While it's not a guarantee we'll lose a key player (or more), it's almost a guarantee that if we rest our best players that they'll be available next week.

    It's a conundrum.

Fundamentally this is all as a result of not having quality in depth in the squad. The euphoria of reaching Wembley again has literally been sucked out of us in recent weeks with well below par performances, whimpering out of the FA Cup and losing key players. I don’t care what anyone says, players heads are not where they should be. We all saw how good we can be against Arsenal, that’s the levels we should be aspiring to week in week out.

The cup final can’t come and go quick enough for me now, I’ll go out and have a good sesh and catch up with some mates, if we win obviously I’ll be over the moon but Im fully expecting another dismal and shrinking violet display from the players once again…we just can’t seem to raise our levels to what’s required at Wembley. We certainly wont “get at them”, well not until we’re 2 or 3 goals down by which time it will be too little too late as always.

I hope with hopefully Botman coming back, Hall and Gordon we can finish the season off strong and cement a top 5 place. I genuinely thought (before this season started) that Howe would be gone if we didn’t secure CL football next season. We’ve had no Europe this season and one decent cup run but now I’m not so sure, even with the very real prospect of finishing 6th or lower and ****ing potless…..AGAIN!
