He's 100% an Arsenal fan... Paul Merson; "it's probably easier for Arsenal to win the league than CL" Despite being 13pts behind
he's not wrong though is he? Nobody with an ounce of sense sees the QF draw and thinks arsenal have a serious change agasint either atletico or real. I have already looked at Us playing PSG then Villa (hard enough) and seen that semi and thought... yeah, no. LFc might get past PSG, they are half decent but we shoudl be confident. Villa will be a blood and guts type game where we should be able to exploit there defence but have to keep going and going for 180mins. but real in the Semi. oh oh.
So FA have published what Slot supposedly said While shaking the hand of referee Michael Oliver, the report alleges that Slot used abusive words towards Oliver. Slot is alleged to have said to Oliver that he "[expletive] gave them everything" in relation to Everton. It also alleged that Slot said to Oliver that he hoped he was "proud of that performance." Slot is also stated to have said "if we don't win the league, I'll [expletive] blame you" before shouting "a [expletive] disgrace" twice at Oliver. There is no way he said all that before being red carded he said about 4 words to Oliver then he reached for his card
If he said all that, a red is harsh, but probably not 100% unexpected. I would like to hear the audio released to see how it could fit.
Nobody saying they have a good chance on either, just that one is slightly better chance than the other. In the PL, they need others to them quite a few favours. CL is theoretically in their own hands.
Arsenal are to raise their tickets prices by average of 3.7% next season despite many clubs freezing their prices including Liverpool.
Yeah. They only have control over 3 points swing in the prem now. They need 3 other favours. (If we assume the gap is 10 not 13 with gsme in hand) Asking for 3 favours in 10 games if rather greedy. But the cl has either the world's greatest ****houses or the galactic coming and arsenal just are not mentally up to either challenge on their best day never mind with a few minor injuries (Sick of hearing they have no forwards when thry clearly have 2)
It was a foregone conclusion from the second they draw confirmed the path but for an emry side they are wildly poor at defending. Couldn't believe they let in an equaliser. With either opponent that they might have they will struggle purely because they seem dodgy at the back
I'm really not sure we'll get past PSG. 3 games in 7 days again, so if we have a good game tomorrow after a week's rest, then maybe. But if we're knackered next Tuesday and need to haul back two or three goals, then nah. I just want to make sure we beat Soton on Saturday and we don't have to struggle for 90 mins in that game.
