Our Tuesday night record has been atrocious for about a decade, add to that we're playing a team we never beat in Newport County and some people have got giddy about us finally winning a game. So for me it screams a bump back to Earth with a defeat. Newport County 2-0 Gillingham (McLoughlin & Antwi)
Hmmm, we are away to a team who have had some recent results until the last 2 conceded 3 in both games. But a home 0-0 draw with top team Bradford, then what a run. 1-0 home win Carlisle, A Massive 3-0 win at Crewe. And a 2-1 win at home to Morcombe. Before that a 1-0 win at home to Barrow who are on a bad run. There are only 2 points between us If and IFFFFFF we can pull off the double and win again???? which I doubt would put us only 14 points away from the playoffs with 12 games to go. The form of the teams above us is not consistent; which we are in the same group but below them. and lower consistency. IFFF this gaffer can change things we might still have a chance, but tonight will tell. Games around us need to be a draw or defeat for us to stand a chance. Lets see what tonight brings. Saturday at home to high-flying Bradford, who seem underfeatable at present. Lets see what happens. I will watch tonight, I was given a very expensive bottle of red wine by a group of lunch friends today, and will open just before the match. Hopefully we get a result as good as my afternoon
