1,Gbode tormented the Morecambe defence did not stop running held the ball up well and had a stonewall penalty turned down.
2, Sam Gale he is so consistent so mature for his age..
3, Max Clarke has really stepped up in the last few games.

Thought the complete team were great today Morecambe did not lay a glove on us it could have been a bigger margin at least 1 penalty.

Never mind the quality -- feel the width ! - You might need to be as old as me to remember the program - but I'm sure you've all aged a lot in the last few months !
I am grateful for 3 points... The Gills deserved them - as they were by far, the better of two teams that were not 'great.'
I appreciated the honest endeavour - even if I hoped for more quality and entertainment - although that was better than the Brits awards ---- I had to leave the room - to allow Mrs. A to it !......have you noticed that there is a co-relation between the lack of musical talent - and the need for their state of undress to divert attention from the first part of the equation ?........anyway - back to the football -
    1. Gbode... worked really hard.
    2. Gale - also worked very had against physical opponents.
    3. Hawkins (( or rather, his shirt .)) Ollie certainly gave 100% - thank you.
.....special mention to the Morecambe ( 55 ) faithful ......and to the extremely hard-working bar staff in the corporate lounge - for ensuring that the fans in the upper Medway stand were kept - ' well-oiled. '

On a more serious note - we do need to address the lack of quality - if we hope for better 'things' - what we've seen for toooooo long, is only going to have Gills scrambling for 'safety' every season.

Genuine question lads, not complaining or nowt, but is Ogie injured?

Reason I ask I noted he wasn't on the bench, so just wondered what the situation was with him.

So glad Dack was not involved. I can't believe Hutton was not mentioned in awards. He for me has been well amazing past few weeks. Covering so much ground. Long throws and beating defences for some smart crosses

Finally a win! It just seemed since I returned to here that I put even more of a curse on us when it came to scoring goals. At least we managed to secure our famous 1-0 win.

Easy choice for man of the match for me!

    1. Gbode- The lad absolutely worked his arse off! If he could add some better finishing he could become such a player but I guess it's a case of whether he's got that in his locker.
    2. Gale- The lad cares so much for the team just like Gbode. It's brilliant having two young players in the team who care for the team having come through our system. Another brilliant performance by him.
    3. Smith- This was a bit of a harder choice for me as it could go to Clark or Smith imo as I feel Clarks really upped his game since he's come back into the team however I'll give it to Smith who I really want to see here next season.

Special mention for Robbie McKenzie who is one player I'd give a new contract. He may not be the flashiest player however he's a great squad player for us who just had a nack of scoring goals, something which many of the team struggle with! I didn't put him in the top 3 as I don't personally think he had an amazing game so I don't feel the goal warrants a place in the top 3. But he was close just behind Max Clark.

I'm pleased you came back mate. <ok>

I do see some other past members on Twitter sometimes, I wonder if people got locked out due to some of the server changes. And I know once people forget their passwords this site can be a nightmare to get into. All stuff I can fix btw.
