The NIC increase impacts wages. The Labour government taking money out of the social care sector means there is even less money to raise the poor pay levels of care staff. Its a masterstroke in stupidity. Poverty is widespread amongst care workers, and this Government is making care workers poorer.
I agree, on an earlier post I said, small businesses, charities etc should be exempt, I would include the care sector under the etc element of that answer.
Food prices up last month and food prices to rise by several per cent by end of year as NI increase is handed onto to consumers. High cost of living coupled with shrinkflation, council tax through the roof for a terrible service, most expensive energy on planet or close, NHS its the NHS , health and social care being knackered border control with a welcone sign saying come in get your free stuff here on it, immigration up, me salaries not gone up its down and there's more bad in the post. Tooled up vermin scum on the streets in south bristol openly committing crime and the police not doing anything about it. change???
We've noticed. Remind me what it was the Labour party said ? We'll shut down all migrant hotels to save the British taxpayer millions of pounds every day. It's even worse than it was before they came to power.

Nearly everything in this country is now either broken or is being done wrongly/mismanaged by Labour and before them the Tories, such as 2 tier policing, the captured 2 tier justice system, local councils being billions in debt, legal and illegal immigration still way out of control with no end in sight, rail staff that still strike or trains don't run because of lack of staff, buses that don't turn up, welfare payments going to millions of people who find it better and easier to claim free money than actually work, NHS, the state of Britains roads is a national disgrace etc etc
Sorry, yet we can still find billions, seemingly down the back of the settee to bolster defence and give to Ukraine. Maybe we're not so badly off after all ?
