Was a really good game mate proper end to end stuff, thought nectar was canny, nothing phased him, will stand him in good stead if he is to make a career here
If you’ve not already seen skip to 1:01:00 and watch Keanes rant about Fernandes. Couldn’t be more bang on. And about captains in general.
Forest big favourites to go through tonight but I hope Ipswich make it a good cup tie. Brighton away up next for the winners
Getting a bit repetitive saying this now but I just can't get over how Ipswich use Clarke. There was probably 10 suitable Championship players last season for their system of the left winger coming very narrow to allow the left back to play high, they signed one of them in Szmodics. Clarke is not, and never will be, a natural in the middle third of the field. He's a touchline winger.
Ian Harte! Saw an opportunity to make some, only, and he did. Luckily we’ve been better since he left (not because of him leaving, we just have). Think le Bris would’ve made him a better player personally! I feel for the lad. Never reach his potential now I don’t think.
Looking forward to Brugge v Villa too, few of my mates are Brugge fans. Quite mental that because of the PL money a team who are mid table are considered bigger favourites than the previous winners of the Europa League and currently 3rd Setia A in Atalanta.
Villa u19s v Barcelona u19s are on TNT3 now. Cothcher, who was with us, is playing for Villa. 0-2 to Barcelona, 50mins played.
Strong side for Villa tonight. Went for 1-1 in the predictor but wouldn’t be surprised to see them nick a win
