I agree but, as you say, that isn't currently the guidance for referees ... ... whatever the case Gordon hasn't done his chances of a big move any good.
Jesus! Now, even though it has been the same for quite some time, they all want the offside overturned from yesterday because Arsene Wenger says it shouldn’t be offside! And Ian Wright doesn’t like it either!
Especially not for fouling Anthony Gordon. One face which, no matter how many bones you break in your hand, you’d just want to keep on punching!!
Delusional! To be fair most of them on there are calling that what it was a clear red card! Plenty of Liverpool.fans saying he did it on purpose, bet mags are loving reading that!
A mag at work (I know, cliche) reckons he wants away and has never really wanted to be there. Reckons Gordon wants to play for Liverpool and only signed for the mags because Everton wouldn't sell him to Liverpool and he's biding his time until he can get a move to Liverpool. Don't know if it's true or not, but it does sound realistic.
Personally, I don't think so. He's fairly skillful and pretty quick, but his end product leaves a lot to be desired most of the time. His performances for England have been pretty underwhelming and often for that lot he gets well marshalled most of the time. But he's been heavily hyped up since he came on the scene at Everton, so criticism tends to get drowned out. I guess it depends on whether Liverpool can develop him or not if they are interested in him.
"never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference". Waste of time trying to reason with some of them mate. "Don't let him see you", if anything, he should have been over the moon he's bumped into someone from his neck of the woods. You should've told him about all the developments in Sunderland that's going to be good for the region aswell.
