Ours is only a little better mind!! I’ve got changed in both the home and away dressing rooms for the Play on the pitch thing which I did a couple of times. Away one is like Durham baths used to be!! Home one is fantastic mind!
Mad thing is they are 12 players short. They only have Isak, and no way is he there next season. They bleat on about Bruno, Gordon and Botman. Bruno would get games off the bench at top clubs, Gordon, wouldn’t get past players in his position at top clubs, and no top club would go near Botman cos his lack of pace means you can’t play fast attacking. They have e spent a quarter of a million to be ‘half decent’, Forest and Bournemouth have genuinely better squads, which is insane.
F@cking hell, that looks like the inside of someone's garage. All it needs is an old lawnmower and a few paint pots on the shelves.
Looks like they're sorted, Gordon's going to give it a tidy and a lick of paint when they're away for the Cup Final https://x.com/i/status/1896235044089541095
Aye it's intentional to give the away team a small cramped dressing room with ****e facilities. The other thing I remember hearing is the ability to play the crowd noise into away changing room. I noticed the changing room on the video with O'Nien looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70s
That game is like a Woodstock moment for Mag fans of a certain age - so many of them claim to have been on the pitch that day that there must have been over 100,000 in the stadium that day. Not disputing your teachers claim especially if he copped a fine, but I lived in Wallsend for many years and most of the male population made similar claims - the most common being that they ran off with the St John's Ambulance stretchers, something they were insanely proud of for some reason.
It’s the David Speedie Clockstand effect! We had about 15000 in the paddock that day! (I was in the roker end!)
I was definitely in the Roker End that night. I was wearing a red and white striped top. You might have seen me.
Has nobody mentioned that the guy had a hold of Gordons shirt. I mean, he deserves sending off, but at the same time, should Newcastle not have been given a penalty too? Edit : Just realised that the whistle had blown for offside already.
I'm of the belief that if you grab somebodies shirt, its a foul, no matter how hard you tug. Its not like a trip or a bad tackle, its cheating and just doesnt need to be done. My original comment meant to say that Gordon deserved to be sent off, not the defender. Then again, I also think that if you grab somebodies shirt you should get sent off. It would stop it happening so regularly in an instant. But current rules, obviously the defender didnt do enough to be sent off, even if the whistle hadnt blown for offside.
