Saturday's performance should bring back a few absentee fans, and I expect a better atmosphere than the last midweek game. Should be the same starting eleven unless NJ decides Berry or Godden needs resting, but now that we've got a decent enough bench that's not so much of a concern. There's also a full L1 Program, with Udders playing Wrexham and Bolton playing Brum, so the chance is there to cement our position in the playoffs.
Credit where it’s due, a very good loan signing. According to Boro fans on Twitter, he’s on a sizeable five figure a week wedge up there, so well out of our price bracket beyond this season (unless we go up). His quality is miles above the likes of both Coventry & Berry …with all due respect to both, it just highlights what we have been so sorely lacking.
Should be a great game tonight. Looking forward to it. It’s in us now to beat them. Hopefully l haven’t jinxed it! 2-1 to the addicks
It will be my first game this year (not season) - really looking forward to it. just regretting my home made cauliflower curry now
Bolton's LB is injured. Expect Thierry to see a lot of the ball, especially if TC has a hamstring problem, as seemed possible late in Saturday's game. Dr Will has done a good job with the fitness of the squad, so hopefully he'll be fully fit and ready to terrorise their RB.
I would have started Gilbert ahead of Berry, but N.Jones is clearly trying to focus on a very settled starting X1. Ahadme has disappeared without trace. To paraphrase Hawtrey, perhaps Gassan was a mission too far for Dr Will ?
Excellent win. Not a fluent performance, but it’s just about winning at this stage of the season. Up to 5th now …just 8 points away from Wycombe in 2nd place.
Wasn’t pretty but 3pts is what matters , Thoughts a certain moderator on another forum was a Barnsley supporter at one point
