I've seen no evidence of cockyness
I think you've been watching the wrong games

If they didn't believe they are better than the league position they'd get criticised for having no confidence and not believing in themselves

Players need to start doing their talking on the pitch. Plenty of teams who have been "too good to go down" have ended up being relegated

Not sure they are demoralized but they are definetely tired, which is good.

Oh, maybe we’ll scrape a draw then. Warra result that would be for the ‘too good to go down’ players at home.

At this point, I am only worried about Luton, we will somehow finish above rest, including Plymouth. We need to take another team down considering Luton comeback and Cardiff was great chance to do that.

Luton player doughty said the same thing

    But i agree
With our squad we shouldnt be this low down

We have luton, plymouth, oxford and derby to play at home

If we somehow go down, then the players have massively ****ed us over

So who’s at fault? Can’t blame it all on Walter as he’s been gone since November. Sellés took over in early December. If this lot were too good to be this low then we’d have steadily moved up the table and be on 40+ points by now in the three months the new head coach has been here.

Instead, we have the same inconsistency and ****e performances and results at home. If this lot were too good to be as low as we currently are, they’d have beaten Cardiff and Stoke.

Blame lies ultimately with the owner/whoever has been in charge of putting the squad together since Rosenior's squad were disbanded, sold and returned. Walter made a difficult situation worse by playing a badly dealt hand in a kamikaze way. Sellers, for all the potential and good talk, is struggling with consistency - hard to know why without any knowledge of behind the scenes. You'd hope the owner will learn from this mess... It's a difficult, competitive league, so stupid to mess up the basics.

its a complex answer i suppose

in theory, no team is too good to go down, and thats part of the beauty of football, why newcastle getting relegated was great and 'big' teams getting relegated to league 1, we have a fantastic chance to stay up with the fixtures remaining
if we don't, then the players absolutely do deserve to be questioned and berated, maybe manager too
it cant help that we constantly have a different lineup, without looking at every other team, as a guess, we must be the team with the most changes per game
our midfield is different every game, the defence is changing every other game, theres just no consistency within the team, it must be hard to form a cohesive unit
what was the stat about debuts this season, i saw it earlier, it was insanity whatever it was

maybe our players are just a bit **** and we've made awful transfers, i think the whole thing comes together, which is why staying up will be so vital for next seaso

Who are Plymouth playing? What would your team talk be if you were Plymouth’s manager?

i do think how we play and having no direct wingers, we always want to cut inside, that suits plymouth defensively
