What a brilliant challenge from Morgan Fox Brewster through on goal and well timed from Fox to prod it clear
Typical Wilder side, ****e tactics, lucky breaks and a weak ref who falls for their constant s.hithousery
Thought we played well there today, and were unlucky not to come away with a point...need to be more clinical with our finishing
If that's what £100m gets you for being one of the worst teams in top flight football history, count me out......
Gutted with that, only one team trying to win and it wasn't the one that actually won. Its a shame we struggled to create much after getting back into it. Definitely deserved something from the game.
Good game & deserved at least a point, very soft first goal cost us & Morgan not picking out Yang when he would be through on Goal, gutted
Frustrating of course but we really don’t help ourselves. So many dim fouls we gave away unnecessarily to help kill the game and far too rushed towards the end with hopeful crosses against a huge defence. The one time we got into a better position even with Fox playing it in we caused a bit of chaos. Yes the ref was weak as piss and yes Choudhury is lucky to stay on but those full-backs were asking to be got at all day and we didn’t do enough. Even Hamer, O’Hare etc. on a bad day will do enough to win games just as we did when we were the moneybags team. Some good performances. Some not so good. The first goal was particularly diabolical to concede but to gift them two made it nearly impossible.
Disappointed with the result, but we put in a good performance. Stand out was Varane again. A bit of luck, and things could easily have gone our way, but sadly it wasn't to be.
Odd game. They are a better team than us, but will be crushed in the PL if they get there. We put up a good show but didn’t take our many chances.
The sun was in my eyes for too much of the afternoon, but I thought we were going to get at least a draw for Stan’s family today. Until we gave them a goal with 9 minutes gone. Like the bad old days at the start of the season when we couldn’t win at home. We kept going today and deserved to get back into it. Really thought Saito was going to score when he jumped higher than their defender to meet a cross from Dunne? But it wasn’t our day. Unlucky
I know a few of you have said it was a good game, I personally thought it was an awful, terrible advert for the Championship. We went back to early season tactics of possession for no reason without looking forward. No matter where the free kick or throw in all we wanted to do was get it back to Nardi. Their first goal wss all because we wouldn't put a boot through it. They were happy to fall over, waste time and take the p1ss the whole game. And the ref just wanted an easy life and not annoy Prem hopefuls. After the early booking of Choudary he could happily waste time knowing he was never going to be sent off for a slow throw-in.
Yeah, it wasn't a good game overall, but I thought we did ok and should have got something out of the game. Both sides played the formula football that seems to be compulsory these days - dozens of passes sideways and backwards without progressing at all. It's called 'playing properly', apparently The referee was poor and gave us very little, but if we had been a bit more clinical in the final third we could have won the game. Varane was superb again and must surely get a big money move before long.
