    Good morning, Attivo.
Sadly, this is the second day of the worst two days National Hunt Racing at Newbury in my lifetime. The lack of quality and quantity is dire in the extreme, and it’s the nadir of this winter’s abysmal season.
If this is what Cheltenham does to the sport, then throw it in the rubbish bin.

Disappointed that connections opted for Newbury with Jurancon rather than Kelso Morebattle. I feared the worst when Pipe mentioned a few days before that he’d see what else is declared before making a decision. Coward!
Anyway had a look and my pin has reset and landed on Here Comes Georgie at a whopping 50/1 (ew). His trainer never seems to worry about the oppo - HCG’s prep for this was a thrashing at the DRF in the Irish Arkle. However his hurdle rating suggests he can be competitive in this. Good luck all.

    15:55 Doncaster - Cloud Dancer

Class-2 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 3m on good-to-soft ground.

Jukebox Jury gelding has sound chance in this event. Wears same headgear as in previous runs. Brian Hughes rides for the Gary and Josh Moore stable.

3/1 best price in all places on the ATR site, at time of writing.

    I can't beleive this...
    Backed 7 horses this afternoon...
    3 pulled up
    1 fell.

Of the other, one actually finished a close (short head) 4th in a race that paid 3 places each-way.

    What a day...
I'm not playing the lottery tonight.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have better luck at Cheltenham.
