Seems like Starmer has been very effective in talking to Trump today. Which might also piss off the Starmer haters.

I once had a quite long online argument with Mary Beard in a comments section. She gives as good as she gets. She's pretty cool. We made up after it. I do like her programs too

Exactly. I have always disliked him. But I still see him as the lesser of all the evils on offer to the UK population- and being able to say what he does well makes people more believable when they criticise what they don’t like.

He was refused a German passport or citizenship due to falsifying his period of residence on his application. Farage was reported to the police by a concerned German citizen with an interest in British politics, who knew of the application and believed it could not have been made legitimately.

I have a question for our right-wingers. Why is almost everything I read online from the right a defence of evil?

1. Defending Putin
2. Defending attacks on trans people
3. Defending hate speech
4. Defending violence on Jan 6th
5. Defending racism

Where is this all coming from? Why are right wong voices accepting this?

They are even defending them. I used to dislike Tories as selfish. But I respected them as adherents of law, dignity and order. This new movement is truly skating close to Mussolini in its orientation.

 

With Spring just around the corner, the Labour Government are falling way behind their target of 4,000 dead pensioners due to losing the winter fuel supplement. They really need to make this a priority or Reform and the Tories are going to look a bit silly.
