If we play better away and against the better teams and assuming one of the main reasons is that we are better when teams come in to us why don't we just play like the away team at home just like Cardiff did to us?

Maybe a bit boring for the home team but if it means staying up I think we'd all take that

Edited: no idea why main reasons changed to naughty reasons <laugh>

Especially those who go to games and want to go in pub before game. No meeting of the Ebeneezer’s Brains Trust before the game puts a dampener on it. A quick pint in Parker’s from a plastic glass is no substitute.

I'm not really sure it does protect the pyramid that much anymore, but if clubs want to keep it, then they have the vote

Then the crowd gets on the players backs and they come under pressure to ditch the game plan.

I think it probably does and probably will for longer than if we ditch it completely.

Im relaxed about televising all PL games if they want but think the pyramid should get the choice rather than the big clubs.

And the away team won't play like they're at home so we'd just have stalemate like the Cardiff game

I predict it will be a game of two halves which could go either way. Or be a draw.

Is that the reason? I'm sick of guessing ko times.

I'd play but only with one of our forwards cos when I smack a ball it doesn't go where I want either

I think so - but even when they get their own way on this one, there will still be staggered KO times so they can show the maximum amount of games each weekend.
As well as Friday Night Football, there will be games on a Saturday at (around) 12.30, 3pm, 5.30 and 7.45 and similar on a Sunday, I suspect.

Has gone on for a while in other countries with games staggered over the weekend at all times. They have Sunday and midweek games kicking off at 10 pm local time.

Yes - I wouldn't be surprised if that was on the cards, too. If sky say a game will KO at midnight, it will do!
