That wasn’t about the results. It could hardly be as it was before the games were played so no one would know the attendances without a highly accurate crystal ball.It was about the fixture list and games with a handful of spectators in most instances being listed above games which average 25,000.
Have another try to find a link where someone said results should be based on attendances.

I couldn't give a **** about upsetting people who find jokes on the 'offensive' thread funny.

    That is actually hilarious.

I think even this whole “you can’t say anything without being labelled a Nazi/Far Right” thing has become bollocks.

Nazis get called Nazis for eschewing Nazi like behaviour, far right people get called far right if they espouse far right beliefs. Instead of complaining, it would be helpful to either correct the person calling you it or check if you have in fact said something far right. It’s what I do when I get called a communist.

What some people who use the quote above are afraid of is standing by their beliefs. Because even though they’re evil ****s, At least the Nazis have the bottle to stand by their views (still punch them in the face). The “these days” people, as I’ve come to know them, are seemingly afraid of their internal views being seen by others that matter to them so they use lines like “I’m just asking questions” or some other disingenuous, transparent cover story that convinces no one. Using stuff like dog whistles to cover their tracks but still convey their messages. So the question becomes “if really you don’t like _______, why do you care so deeply what people think about your opinion?” Either they don’t believe what they’re saying or they’re cowards and care more about their position in society than their beliefs.

They should just say don’t like Muslims if that’s how they feel. Or non white people. Or foreigners. Or say that you want gay people to not be gay. At least then we know where we stand. Don’t be pussies.

The standard response on here to someone who doesn’t like a thread is don’t read it, it isn’t mandatory. I don’t want to read about overweight men in helmets running into each other or cricket so I normally don’t bother reading the threads.

Where did I say that I didn't like the thread? My main issue with it is the direction of travel, not the 'offensive' nature. I hoped for more.

I think this thread has run its course, nobody is going to change their opinion and several posters are incapable of adhering to the no politics/no religion rule, so it’s time to call it a day.
