No more genuine philosophies for me, thanks. I'd rather someone with a pragmatic approach to making the best use of the players available

Interesting that the TSP guys think he might be gone after the Liverpool game, if he even lasts that long.

I'd have thought the board would really want to avoid another double sacking. Their big thing when we went down was "learning from our mistakes".

I'm 99% sure that's something Jason Wilcox commented on when he did his first big interview. Too many managers and too many changes of playing style.

Meanwhile they’ve *checks notes* done exactly the same thing again

Honestly you couldn’t write it. Absolute muppets. They are so incompetent that it’s likely they’re doing it deliberately

Interesting to read comments suggesting the demise of Juric after the Liverpool match as I thought that SR would pull the plug on him after the Chelsea match.

It will be a good indication of Spor's influence and assessment. I am imagining him being very underwhelmed and just have an inkling that Juric may have caused the moral to crash even further than Martin. We are getting tonked every week and feel that some decisive action will be necessary appease the fan base.

If Spor is not addressing the falings, then what is his role. I feel Spor will need to be shown to be assertive and not SR puppet.

Spor's take on things will be interesting because the issues are with both the management and playing staff. The fans will not take Spor seriously if he fails to recognise the failings that are so obvious to them. I don't feel Saints fans will want to.equal the Derby record.

Part of me feels sorry for Juric as he should not have accepted a position which was detrimental ti his reputation. If Spor fails, that is the of SR.

Fortunately there’s more than one Spor. There’s a whole Spors.

Sacking him now would be pouring good money after bad. It costs millions. If we want to see a decent performance next season, losing that money now would be foolish. To save a bit of face? I’d rather look at the bigger picture. Change and invest in the summer. Suck the rest of it up.

Our recent ‘rinse and repeat’ process of management changes rather supports your view. We’ve had a few too many 2/3 managers a season, whoever owned the club over the last how many seasons!

It wouldn't cost us any more to sack now, assuming we just gave it to an internal candidate until the end of the season. The cost to sack him now would likely just be whatever we will end up paying in wages until the break clause is active.

I think the biggest problem Jurić had, was trying to implement such a drastic change in playing style, to soon.
I feel, if he had concentrated on making us more defensively stable, he and us as a club would be in a better position moving forward into the summer and next season.
So whilst the players have been utter garbage this year, i feel he is also making his position to continue more difficult due to the decisions he had made.

One of the sports websites was suggesting this afternoon that a decision had been made at St Mary's not to employ Juric next season.

He won't make it till the end of season.

Our best performance this season was the 0-0 at Fulham. The game before he started.

I can’t help notice the difference in attitude between Mateus and Tyler. Every picture (and watching him) of Tyler indicates he has no interest in our situation whereas, despite the rubbish around him Mateus shows some effort. That’s a real shame to see obvious talent not trying? Perhaps it’s just my expectation of players is too high!

Juric has come under criticism for the detrimental effect he has had on Dibling. Got to say I think we should have cashed in back in January. Dibling has underperformed for a number of months now.

On the plus side it means we stand a better chance of keeping him.

I don’t see the point in sacking juric, unless the cost is the same now as the summer. We need a huge clear out in the summer, only a few players I would like to keep.

No we don't. Good scouts will easily see his immense talent despite Juric's management of him. There's a reason why he's been strongly linked with clubs all over Europe. He's all but gone.
