He played DM last season a few times for Estoril. Europeans have a different idea of DM from the English. To us it means primarily a hard-tackling ball-winner. To them it often means a ball carrier and deep playmaker type. He can easily play that role abroad, and for better managed English teams.
Anyone worked out when we're likely to officially go yet? Villa perhaps? Would be strange if it was Fulham again
Spurs would be the earliest it could happen. And surprisingly, it doesn't require an unlikely set of results for it to happen then. We lose to Liverpool, Wolves, Palace and Spurs. Wolves get two more wins from Everton, West Ham and Ipswich. They would be 22 points clear of us with 21 points left. West Ham and Man Utd would both need a single point each. If Wolves had won yesterday, I think it would have nailed on to happen at Spurs. But as it is, we might hang on until Villa.
Who we really need to hear from is Spors. I'd much rather hear about plans going forward than pretty much meaningless apologies for the ****show this season.
We are doing a Chelsea. Signing someone, not playing them and then hoping to sell them for profit. except we are nothing like Chelsea
I don’t know what other fans think. I strongly think that Saints are a considerate club and are looking after our health. Imagine if we lost every game by only one goal. The hope that we might get a point or three to the bitter end would be really painful and dangerous. By giving up the ghost and loosing the game 20 mins in and conceding 3 or 4 or more they are helping our cardio health
It can just say "We're losing to someone else this week, doesn't matter who it is. **** VAR, roll on August
Exactly. We're not gonna get another 11 people wanting to do one realistically and if we reach 12 points the starter can do the opening day next season.
