Its ludicrous the way Barcelona have been allowed to just carry on, finding ways around the rules, despite having the debt of a small country. I mean whats the worst they've had, not being allowed to play a player in league games until they find a way around it?
The top 2 are "too big to fail" While the Spanish fa have made it hard for them to just continue registering players they have enabled them at the same time. The actual truth of the situation is Spain is benefiting from forcing barca to actually pick from la masia. Look at the barca team Yamal Olmo (via a long route was a former youth) Pedri (signed young) Gavi (patched very young for academy) Fati Araujo (signed for academy) Casado Balde Bernal Cuenca They are absolutely loaded with youth as a result of being saved from themselves and being unable to waste money on rubbish The club won't learn though and will try chase shiny objects to compete with real They are level pegging in la liga and could meet in the cl final. But if real win it by 1 point the barca ego will demand massive fees being spent.
TBH, I always thought he was overrated. He won a three horse race in Portugal with one of the three horses. It had been a long time since his team won, but all his predecessors came close... he also finished 4th in the three horse race a few times. In hindsight, if United had stuck with Moyes, they probably would have won the title by now. It was difficult for the club to transition from Fergie and one season off the peak was probably to have been expected. Moyes wasn't given enough time and had he stayed United would still be winning titles today (occasionally, nothing would beat City's money).
When would he have wom it with utd? What season the leciester one? A chelsea one? There's not a single city title they could touch and ours just as far away
Villa thumped by Palace. Can't see them getting top4 if they can only be arsed to get up for the glamour games.
I am surprised we dodnt argue the and/or thing not sure how the FA got away with such a wishy washy charge.
Back for the LC final and the Everton game. 70k fine as well (50k for the club on top and 7k for Hulshoff)
Slot admitted he crossed the line, didn't contest the charge and apologised. We don't know what was said.
My view of this is simple. Slots not done anything before. A clean record. He shook hands a tiny bit to vigorously. Irrespective of what's said or not said as we know he turned back after the red and said you sent me off for that??? My view is for a first offense to give 2 match ban is an absolute disgrace. We've seen a lot worse get nothing and then same ref stand and take absue off gaurdiola after a game and not pull a card. It is the usual inconsistent pgmol Bellshill and being backed as a ref after making a series of howlers Webb hung him.out to dry on
Amorim only became Manager of Sporting in 2020, so how you got he’s finished 4th a few times I’m not sure. His previous management was Braga for a year( where he won their version of the league cup) He won both the League and league cup in his first full season with Sporting in 2020-2021, after Sporting hadn’t won the league in over 20 years. sporting come 2nd in 2021-2022 Sporting came 4th in 2022-2023 He won the league again in 2023- 24 and was top on the league unbeaten when he joined United so I wouldn’t say he was overrated based on his short managerial career and what he had achieved the problem appears to be his football formation he prefers doesn’t really suit the Premier league and he doesn’t seem very flexible. the biggest one though is he doesn't stfu and is always complaining, constantly denigrating his team and players and the club itself. If he had come here and whined like that he would have already been out on his arse, just like we did with Woy when it wasn’t working out
