Our ownership contains more flippers than you’d find in a dolphin sanctuary.

7 teams chasing 4 places, so yes it's possible. NJ has by luck or judgement got a balanced team which invariably produces close games, usually not more than one goal innit. But some changes will have to be made to the starting eleven. Co-co is one booking away from a two-match ban, we have no cover for either winger, and they are both young players who shouldn't be overplayed. IMO it will depend on how we cope with injuries and suspensions. It seems too big an ask, so my money would go on a 7th or 8th place finish. Oddly enough if we do get in them playoffs I think our solid defense would give us a decent chance.

    Just like Roland.

Promotion will lead to a sale.
Since we have no assets beyond a few players and a minimum £20m will have to be spent just to keep Charlton in the 2nd tier, we are not likely to attract anyone trustworthy.
Roll on the redevelopment of Floyd Road.

    Wrexham 1 Orient 2 <laugh>

Unfortunately Huddersfield won as well, meaning we are down to 7th.

Very little margin for error now in the run in.

Thank God Methven had left us with a deep squad for the run in.

With Saturday's and tonight's going as bad as it can get, this puts more pressure on us.
I still think we'll not make top 6, but never mind, it will be a season of progress.
Embrace the journey and let's see where we are after Burton at home.

I’m kinda thinking now we can make the play offs. I keep getting this feeling that Aneke will shake off his osteogenesis imperfecta and win us the playoff final at Wembley.

I’m working on the law of complete nonsense or the Reams rules. Make numerous outrageous predictions and when one comes up claim genius status.

Our away games at Wrexham and Orient will probably make or break it, given how tight it is at the top now.

I will stick with what I have said previously. We will finish eighth or ninth.

Here’s a list of our current scorers this season.

    It’s pretty dreadful, tbh.

We are going to be very fortunate to get promoted this season with so few goals in our squad.

If Godden stops scoring, or gets injured then it's a definite see you later.

We have Orient away & Huddersfield at home coming up. Realistically we need at least 4 points from these two games.

In the final week of the season we play Wycombe away, followed by Wrexham away.

These will be the two fixtures that determine whether we squeak into the Play Offs.

We need to stay handy in the table prior to playing these two games.

If our players (I am thinking particularly of the likes of TC & Berry) can’t stand up in these two matches, there’s no point being in the Play Offs anyway.

A big night tonight at the top of League One.

    Birmingham City v Leyton Orient.

Huddersfield and Barnsley also have games later.

As a club, I prefer them to Wrexham.

Their owners have gone about things the correct way, they respect the club’s history (they interviewed Curbs on the pitch at half time last week), and they comfortably attract 25,000 in the Third Tier without having to resort to the “Methven Massage” of the attendance figures.

Birmingham City are (when viewed across the history of football) a big Club.
A Club that has every right to claim the 2nd tier as it's natural home and a legitimate platform to allow forays into the top flight.
In fact, since the turn of the 20th Century BCFC have spent more seasons in the 1st tier than the 2nd.
They have been Champions of England four times, and reached two FA Cup Finals.

Charlton have a similar record over the past 120 years,
Although we have not spent as many seasons in the 1st Division as Birmingham, or been Champions of England.
Unlike them we did win one of our two FA Cup Final appearances.
But historically we are a Club not very much smaller than Birmingham City.

Both Clubs have been Giants in bygone eras.
Wrexham, no disrespect, do not have that history.
Naturally their life-long fans are rightly proud of them, but they have never been among the big hitters in football.
Nor have they earned the right to be now.

Birmingham to draw, Barnsley to lose, Huddersfield to win.
