Jones at RCB and Hughes (or McC) at LCB please.
Hughes still has mistakes in him (Egan does too it appears), but Jones looks more comfortable at RCB. Need Hughes to stay fit and have a good run of games.

Yeah, he really does. It seems like a strange signing to me. I'm conscious it's early to be writing him off but he seems such a level below the other defenders on the ball that it's a bit of a liability. Against Norwich he passed it off the pitch about five times, and that chance at Sunderland where he and Pandur conspired to give it away in a terrible position under very little pressure was embarrassing by both of them.

Is number 10 that Arsenal **** that scored the winner against us at Wembley? ****er. **** 'em up just for that alone, which would make 3 points all the sweeter.

Egan is a solid defender at this level and has played a handful of times. Good player to have around the squad.

Embarrassing.... behave, it's way to early for your over dramatic posts.

Also, what's behind your constant effort to take digs at pandur no matter what he does?, you where almost begging for him to be dropped weekly for a keeper who wasn't ours and showed himself no better when called upon. He's not as busy as he was earlier in the season ( thanks god ), but that's due to our improvement as a team and yea a couple of passes have been off, but name me a player in football who doesn't miss place a pass every now and then. As an player this season he's been absolutely fantastic for us and continues to be. He's a big upgrade on the GKs we've had over the past fair few years and should be our first choice for a number of years to come.

I'm not getting into another big back and forth with you on Pandur. I just mentioned a terrible pass he made which Egan also dealt with terribly. It was really poor by both of them and it gifted them a huge chance out of nowhere. It happened and you shouldn't be annoyed by a mention of something that happened.

In Egan's defence, Pandur did ping it at him with an unnecessary amount of power considering he was unmarked. You'd absolutely expect a better touch there, but still, it had shades of early Rosieball about it.

He feels like one of those signings that is just handy to bring on in the closing stages, he's on an 18 month deal and he's a pretty decent mentor for Hughes, in the same way Joseph will learn a lot from Pedro.

My concern is how we deal with the height of Salech and Daland from set pieces. @Febbos @Stockholm Tiger any insight into Salech? Seems to have hit the ground running there with three goals in seven games and looks like a threat.

Their young CM Robertson is also very good from what I've seen, they got him for £1m from Man City and he's already broken into the Australia national team. I'm sure @SydneyTiger14 mentioned him a transfer window or two ago as somebody he'd like to see here.

Daland's injured I think. Goutas got a red card against Plymouth too so both their best centre-halves are unavailable for tonight.

Not annoyed at anything and I didn't say it didn't happen did I? Just wondering why your so dramatic about it, or are you going to call out every player who miss places as pass moving forward as embarrassing seen as you've set your stall out?.....

Some people would want us to be still starting Allslop over Pandur, just out of spite.

Genuinely don't get his blatant dislike of such a good GK. Yes he misplaced a pass( name me a footballer who hasn't and doesn't almost weekly), but to call it embarrassing is just OTT as was his constant push to see him dropped. But I'm sure he'll now be calling every player who misplaces a pass, or striker who misses a guilt edge chance embarrassing just to be fair.

Now who's being dramatic? Who do you think dislikes Pandur? I certainly don't, he seems like a really good bloke who's made some important saves for us this season. However (I know, imagine being able to hold two different opinions at the same time) I also thought we should have played Rushworth instead of him because Pandur slows down our game with his decision making and slow passing, and also has a pretty atrocious long passing game. There's plenty on here who think that doesn't matter as long as he is good at shot stopping, but most managers in the modern game want both. None of that means I dislike him, but then perhaps I'm not dramatic enough.

And I quoted on that at the time
But it wasn’t embarassing it was poor play
Your use of the word embarassing is a thinly veiled dig and you know it

When Rushworth finally did play he didn't command his box well at all and flapped at nearly every cross or high ball that came into his box.

Pandur's 'pretty atrocious' long pass completion % is higher than Onana's and Raya's and similar to Alisson's.

I like Pandur - he's the best keeper we've had for quite a while.

Just to reiterate before I comment on an aspect of his game that I think he could strengthen; I like Pandur - he's the best keeper we've had for quite a while.

He does have a tendency to collapse like Bambi on ice when a player is through one on one with him though, presumably in an attempt to make himself look big. I don't really recall him making any successful blocks when a player is bearing down on him, nailed on to score.

Pretty atrocious long passing game....just go look at the stats and maybe have a rethink.

Calling what he did embarrassing is flat out dramatic and I will happy call it out as that. Because if that's his bar for embarrassing then he'll spend most his time watching professional football calling people embarrassing, but we all know he won't as it was just his next ( in his head ) opportunity to have a dig at pandur, which he has done all season without any backing as why he constantly does it, hence my question as to why he seems to hate/dislike him.....yes he's not as good with his feet as allsop, but he's not as far behind him as PLT likes to make out and he's ****ing lightyears ( see I can be dramatic to ) ahead of allsop in every other aspect of his game.

I think just his way of dealing with one on one situations, each keeper has his own way of doing it, it can look odd at times but it's shown to be effective.

If we had mesiller in goal
We'd be dead bottom about 4 points adrift

If leeds had pandur, theyd be 7 points higher up
    Probably
