Just announced another 200 redundancies to put the club back into profitability. Obviously not the ridiculously overpaid and underperforming players but the proles. Incredible that in the real world people who need the job to pay mortgage/rent lose their jobs while the players who are responsible for the real loss of income keep their jobs.
It's ridiculous. That's about 500 since he started, probably saves no more than a couple of their first team wasters. I know it isn't that simple but it does illustrate how out of line football finances have become. On the other hand that's a big chunk out of a big workforce, maybe it does need doing.
I read the other day, that the wages they saved on the 250 redundancies Radcliffe made when he first came in last year, saved exactly the same amount as the wage they've paid Luke Shaw since he last started a game.
Mad they got that many employees Didn’t the arse years ago sack all their stewards and out source it?
To be fair they’re only bringing their staffing levels back in line with other Premier League clubs, they were ridiculously overstaffed at one point. That said it’s always sad when someone loses their job, especially as people have pointed out there’s players stealing a living at Old Trafford at the moment.
Is the cheapest match ticket now £66...? Crazy, paying that to watch them, but I guess the tourists will.
Who'd have an utter **** would run a team in a ****ish way eh.....love it, obv v gutted for the people involved but man u just get more laughable as each season goes by.....best cost cutting this year has come from avoiding all those win bonuses players would be due if they were any good
Have their merch sales dropped yet, you don't see as many plastics wearing their shirts as you use to?
They've closed the staff canteen now. But the good news is staff can have free fruit instead of a hot meal. Moral through out the club must be sky high. Expect to see them in championship some time soon
I imagine they will try not pay them any redundancy or the bare minimum the people getting the sack. I bet it hasn’t crossed his mind, Ratcliffe, to reduce his own salary or any of his management team??
He's Glazer's puppet They cream off millions in interest on the loans, while match tickets are now £66? And the cleaner and the tea lady get the boot Family club my @rse
Didn’t they give ten Haag a contract extension in the summer then pay him off six months later Didn’t they pay a fortune to get ashworth out of Newcastle, then pay him off six months later
It looks like their players are on the minimum wage. It's a disgrace... .https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/3352...questions-true-extent-man-utd-mess-exclusive/
They should have just sold up to the Saudi guy when they had the chance, the ineos experiment will fail miserably and it'll take them years to get back in the mix....if ever
Ratcliffe is starting to look like man u’s version of Martin fish. Cut costs, suck the soul out of the club and expect success. It’s a massive gamble and I predict it will not work.
