Interested to see who they go for. Reportedly new ownership on the way as well. League is already gone but a very tough tie in the Europa League against Fenerbahce.
The Luton manager has been a disaster and looks increasingly likely to be sacked imo … … unless Luton are actually planning for relegation he could go imo. There’s something weird going on at that club.
only 2 wins from safety, which is odd. they might give him until they cant reach safety before acting.
And we are only three wins from an automatic promotion place. Yet some on here think that we’ll never do it.
logic or lack of, the same ones calling for RLB to be sacked will be singing his name again when we win, just crayz
Bit of a false equivalence, ha. The teams Luton are trying to catch are averaging 1 point per game, the teams we're after are averaging 2+ points per game (and in significantly better form than us)
We are just as capable of clawing those points back and other teams above us are capable of dropping them.
That's a very good point and true enough, there is another aspect though ... ...I believe Luton have to play 5 of the teams directly above them away from home. Most of our games now are against mid-table teams and none of the top three. This is more an argument for Luton going down than it is for Sunderland going up tbh. I just hate Luton and really want to see them plummet, never build a new stadium and see the owners run off with the parachute money
Don't get me wrong, I don't think either of us will catch the teams above us haha. Just pointing out it's a slightly bigger ask for us than Luton, imo. But the Championship is a crazy league, anything can happen!
RvN the current favourite to be the next PL manager gone, can’t say I’m surprised Their next 5 games… West Ham (a) Chelsea (a) Man U (h) Man City (a) Newcastle (h)
Carrick got to be under some serious pressure at Middlesbrough. If they lose at Stoke tonight then surely he'll be gone?
