Coyle gets picked up on every mistake he makes, sometimes justified but he certainly gets singled out more than anyone. Not just on here but in the stands too. It feels like it's a bandwagon people jump on very quickly.

Mind you I do feel we got away with the handball in the penalty area yesterday

    Well played yesterday Lewie Coyle.

Was your last word describing the solution or addressing SYD?

wouldn't be the first time Louie would have conceded a penalty this season with his arms in the air - Norwich away - he had a good game yesterday - hopefully he keeps it going because he has been too inconsistent this season

I'm probably just unaware of whatever league he's come from but the hype around that Le Fee guy seems ridiculous. Never heard his name before but he's the best loan signing ever? Reminds me of when Leeds got Jean-Kevin Augustin a few years ago and some of their fans bragged that he was immediately the best player in the championship. That worked out well.

Tbf we've been just as guilty at times of overhyping our signings and have had similar outcomes.

Don’t get the overreaction at times but without getting carried away City are definitely improving all over the park under Selles. The new recruits are now fitter and look capable of the demands needed. We can close teams now without leaving ourselves wide open at the back. The team seems more comfortable with the system being used and whilst there are better sides than us we can now look to the bench again for cover.

    What’s not to like?

He's on loan from Roma who spent something like 15m on him in the summer. He's a reasonable player.

I do think he’s a very very good player but he’s definitely not a winger. Now they’ve got Mundle back i imagine Rigg drops out and Le Fee goes into his normal role.

Sunderland fans think he’s so wasted out on the wing

And we're still deep in a relegation scrap. Hopefully we'll eventually pull clear but I reserve the right to criticise if we don't!

Just watched the highlights again. Now I don't think Burnsy deserves some of the stick he gets but he sounded absolutely clueless about the goal and how it went in.

Hopefully we will have turned around considerably by Easter. Jury is very much still out on Selles for me but he’s starting to pull off results like this, we need to follow it up over the next few games and not be total ****e for weeks between class performances.

thought Lincoln had a great game yesterday - chased back, covered, put himself about, some great passes - compare that to Kamara who seems to lollop about and not care - might be just appearances but he looks a good signing

The pass he made with his weak foot that set Gelhardt off which led to the disallowed goal was a touch of class. He was full of running and passion yesterday. He and Coyle nullified Mundle and Cirkin

Tbf, he did explain how he was without a monitor to watch back replays. I'd guess there were plenty who on seeing it live, with no replay, wouldn't be sure what happened.

Yes Lincoln showed real classic stopping the winger going outside and then blocked him inside , looks more of a Prem skill than Championship glad he was there . It’s what Coyle needs to help him .

Hopefully in time Lincoln helps put to bed this weird, ongoing xenophobic myth that keeps popping back up that the players we get from Turkey can only be ****e and Acun's playing football manager when he tries to bring them in. He looked very promising yesterday and based on that would hope he keeps being involved in the upcoming games.

    Lincolns not even turkish

    Xeneophobic against a football league?

Silliest comment ever seen on here
