    Watching Blackburn v Wolves.
    2-0 to Wolves.
Cantwell at fault for 1st goal, he seems to be just running around like a headless chicken. He really has ****ed up his career

Second half, Cantwell subbed after 56 mins.

Swansea did us a favour today by beating Bristol City by a single goal at Ashton Gate. Had Bristol won, they would have moved above us in the table, joining Blackburn on 45 points. It's also a reminder that, contrary to what some people seem to think, not grasping opportunities is not a unique failing of Norwich City ;)

Leeds 0:1 Sunderland at HT. I'd be surprised if Leeds manage to win this one from here.

I'm really surprised <laugh> It was still 0:1 when I stopped watching!

At least Piroe didn't score, so Borja is still on his own at the top of the goals table with 15. He'd better start scoring again soon though.

A man with your knowledge Robbie should have known that you have to watch a Farke side until the final whistle blows. Incidentally you get a last second winner against a fellow promotion rival and in the celebrations that followed the Ref books Farke for coming out of his technical area. Where do they manage to find these twats!!

I've tried to get that across to my smart home but it insists on shutting down all screens half an hour before bedtime .............

The only smart thing in our house is Mrs 1950 and now you mention it - she shuts down half an hour before bedtime as well unless I'm thinking of slipping down the village for a couple of late swifties in which case she remains on full alert!!

What will have rattled them more is Wolves defeating Bournemouth. What was only recently a one point gap has expanded to five (six if you take GD into account).

Yeah it’s getting close to the stage where the bottom three are cut adrift, and when you look at the next five or six fixtures for Wolves and their well-timed uptick in form, you have to think it’s probably curtains for the Binmen.

Good, six points for us next season if we do not get promotion.

Norwich City Women today moved into top spot in their league (FA Women's National League, Div. 1 SE) with a 1:0 win over Chesham Utd at the Nest. Likely to be only temporary because the teams in 2nd and 3rd are just two points behind and have at least one game in hand on them. But it's a thoroughly deserved reward for a run of six successive home victories. Well done NCW <applause>

Club Brugge 1:3 Aston Villa in the CL
First leg tie tonight. Christos Tzolis was a constant threat, but the night didn't go well for him. Put clean through at 1:1 with only Martinez to beat, the ball bobbled and he put it over. Then, after Villa had taken the lead through a Brugge own goal, he tried to dribble to safety past Pat Cash in the Brugge penalty area and inadvertently brought Cash down, conceding a penalty. A night to remember for all the wrong reasons -- but at least it wasn't Christos who put the ball past Mignolet in the Brugge goal!

Arsenal, who have trouble scoring in the league at the moment, hit seven away to PSV. The first time 7 has been scored away in a CL knock out match. Will play one of the Madrid teams in the next round when they complete their victory next week.

Under Farke we were labelled "the Man City of the Championship"; under Knapper, are we now on the way to becoming "the Arsenal of the Championship"? Arsenal play what I call "joyous" football; they play it as an end in itself in the pursuit of which results are something of a nuisance and distraction. I love watching them, helped by the fact that I'm not an Arsenal supporter so can enjoy the luxury!
