    Good riddance to him.
And sack the fukrs who employed him.
The man had money under false pretenses.

We’d scored 3 goals in the last 5 matches prior to today.

Today we got 3 in 62 mins.

    Something has changed.

They were given freedom to express themselves, and told to play with high intensity, that is all. I have said before these players are better than the performances, today proved that, hopefully with the right manager we could finish top half of the table, that would be a big improvement given the season so far......<ok>

I've said it for years and It may be the obvious thing to say but the manager is THE most important member of staff. You saw it today with the Swans and with Wales. The same groups of player yet two massive improvements in play.

Maybe leave Sheehan in charge (as Mono alluded to as well) for the rest of the season. There aren't that many games and I feel like we'll be safe now anyway. If things improve, then great. If they don't, then think about a replacement carefully, with time to do so. It's not as if we're going to attract anyone in demand anyway and our track record of pulling rabbits out of the hat seems to have gone as well.

    Just getting back in.

What can I say? A much better performance all round.

Let’s start with the ‘negatives’ - Vigoroux pulled off a Worldie in the first couple of minutes: could have been a different game had that gone in. Additionally, he pulled off another good save soon after although that was basically straight at him.

Thereafter, the Swans grew into the game and fully deserved the win.

Zipotnik looked a different player - hungry and (surprisingly?) good close techniques/skills on the ball. He scored the first and had a huge impact/assist for the second.

Cabango was good throughout as was Darling. Tymon was equally decent although Key had both good and not so good moments.

O’Brien is an upgrade on Grimes and he and Franco worked well together. Indeed, Franco was outstanding and put in a helluva shift - even being able to wind up their 10 and 27.

Cullen, I thought, was poor first half - almost as if he was trying too much. He was better in the second half and took his goal well.

Peart-Harris possibly had his best game for us - look far more confident.

Ronald was better today reverting to being a winger clearly suited him.

Additionally, a big shout out to Sheehan: the formation (playing with a back 4) worked well, and the faster/more direct approach clearly worked.

Furthermore, the players looked as if they were playing - even fighting - for each other. They looked like they cared. As did Sheehan who got into a spat with one of their players and got a yellow card for it.

Finally, the ref - hardly gave us a 50:50 call throughout the first half, and well into the second. Seemed to have it in for us. Given that we won, this is not a ‘sour grapes’ moan but feeling that I had during the game.

Anyway, a late run to the Play Offs anyone?

Taff forget the play offs we would need to win all our games and hope a few above us lost theirs. Anyway let us enjoy the last few games of this new look Swansea City playing with a freedom that we havent seen for a couple of seasons. Very little back passing. More shots on target. More high presses. Poor old Blackburn didnt know what hit them.
My great nephew enjoyed the day but hit the post twice against Cyril. Doh.

Swansea City has made the difficult decision to postpone next week’s fans’ forum.

After consultation, the Club has decided to postpone the upcoming fans’ forum, which had been scheduled for Monday, March 3.

The Club remains committed to holding this event. Chairman Andy Coleman has met with several groups of fans over the past few weeks, and open communication with supporters and fan engagement remains a key element of the strategic direction of the Club.

The overwhelming interest from supporters has quite understandably been focused on football performance. Given the recent changes within this department and the required preparations for our game against Preston, it is felt that it is not the right time to hold this event.

The second half of the season has seen a lot of change at the Club. All of these changes have been implemented with a view to putting a strong foundation in place for the Club to have the best possible chance of success in the future.

As a first stage of this on-going communication, a supporter survey will soon be shared with our database to allow you to share your feedback on a wide range of topics across the Club. We ask that all fans take the time to respond and that your answers are as detailed as possible. This will help shape the direction of the Club for the new season.

We can also confirm that the Supporters’ Trust have been advised of this decision and of the upcoming supporter survey. While they would have preferred the forum to go ahead, they understand it needs to be where the panel is in position to answer our supporters’ questions. The Club and the Trust will be working together to confirm a new date for the forum as soon as possible.

All those who applied to join the fans’ forum will be contacted in due course. Further information will be made available as soon as we’re able to share it with you.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, and we thank all supporters for their continued support and patience.
