So disillusioned that I’m not even taking pleasure in Ipswich and Leicester being nearly as bad as Saints. We are in a league of our own when it comes to pathetic.

You have to surely understand the pessimism? It’s not like it’s been a couple years of **** at this point, it’s been 8 or so years now. We’ve been on a downward trajectory since the switch from Koeman to Puel. Hassenhuttl managed miracles to keep a sinking ship from going down way before it should have and then Martin gave the illusion of progression.

This has somewhat been a vindicating season in the worst possible way because I was such a negative ba***rd during our unbeaten run last year because I felt I was one of a few that saw how fragile our team was. I was adamant to my mate that promotion would be bad and we’d be in for torture this year but I really didn’t want to be right.

Recruitment hasn’t just been poor, it’s been some of the worst you could ever ask for. How many players have come in and left without barely touching a ball? How many come in and sent on loan almost immediately? How many sold at the first sign of any potential? How many bought who were so blatantly under the level of the PL? And even more stunningly, how many bought that the ****ing manager never even seemingly wanted to use in the first place?

And that’s without mentioning Ross ****ing Stewart who at this point is just the perfect encapsulation of everything **** about our recruitment.

You have to surely see that while yes a change around is good, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe we are now changing things for good. Spors sounds promising yes but so what, we were told the last guys would be great. We’re told every signing has potential. It means **** all at this point.

Sorry, but it just gets tiring having to say it again and again. You say you’d have been sacked, and yes, you would. As have, ostensibly, they been.

 

Apathy at this point. People know Chamionship is on the cards and every knows the recruitment has had a shake up. The protests will start if this shocking form and same **** players are still around 2 months into the Championship.

 

Knowing our lot, rhey were probably some half hearted boos, some fans shouting at those booing (I've had personal experiences there!!) followed by polite applause as the team trudged off.
