Matazo. Controlled the midfield well. Would not be beaten Geldhart. Played well right across the pitch and defensively, great teamwork performance McLaughlin. Really solid game, could have been a number of nominations for top three. Stunning win against an in form team without being defeated at home beforehand: Well done Selles, set the team up perfectly, team spirit is spot on. Well done everyone in the shirt today. Keep them results going lads
Matazo - Started a bit iffy in possession but really grew into the game in all aspects Gelhardt - Really solid performance in attack and in his defensive duties. Coyle - Tough call between him and Macca, Macca was very assured in dealing with his side but I'll give it to Coyle because he had a lot more to deal with on his side of the pitch.
Hughes - Thought he did really well on his comeback today, constantly got his foot in. Matazo - I really like the look of him, said it when he came on v Sheff Utd, but today, started sloppy, thought, here we go, but after the first 5 minutes, really took control of midfield! Coyle - Absolutely garbage, how does he start week in week out? Oh yeah, because he has good games like this one! I thought he was great defensively & when in midfield area, he looked for the foul or the forward pass.
Matazo Gelhardt Lincoln Unusual to put a sub in there who played little more than 45 mins, but I thought he was tremendous. Quality on the ball but hard work and discipline off it. They moved him over to the right where we were having problems and it really tightened it up. More please.
Yeah, the subs confused me. I thought Lincoln and Puerta came on at the time, but didn't think it was possible as Lincoln is **** and just here to get him off Fener's wage bill, and Puerta couldn't possibly play without costing us 3m. Funny old game.
