Hume can be excellent when bombing forward looking for the overlap. There's no point though, because Roberts will try to beat 11 men, 15 fans, the ref, a couple of seagulls before being tackled by a crisp packet. Meanwhile the rest of the team may as well just get back into their defensive shape.

On the goal. I cant figure what ONien is thinking with that header - risk reward all wrong. Bit of hindsight but why put your worst header of the ball on the front post? Poor tactics. Patto - it is a bread and butter catch. No excuses, and you can see he knows it. But I wouldnt be buying ONien a pint anytime soon if I were him.

I'll be disappointed if I don't see at least one change at HT. Could be anyone off to be honest, everyone has been below par. Some worse than others though, Roberts especially bad but that's normal for him now.

I am not sure we see subs unless forced tbh. He might want them to improve themselves.

I would get Mundle on. Le Fee off, or in the middle if that really where he should play. I worry about how slight he is in a game like this. Aleksic in for Rigg. Mayenda for Roberts. Bit more aggression and pace would be handy.

Mind you I could make a case for Jobe and Isidor going off as well. Too many below their level today.

Isidor needs passes. He's had one over the top from which he is expected to make magic from. Isidor is nowhere near the problem. It's the three behind him Roberts, Rigg and Le Fee.

On the bright side Cirkin is starting to tick again, but changes are needed to this team or we are in big trouble here. a quick goal will serve us well
Mundle on for Le Fee , curious

    Typical complacency by Sunderland.
Then when Hull started to leave their foot in and the ref let them play like like lots of players hid.

O'Nien made another bad decision, yes, Mr Sunderland, but he's been so lucky not to receive more yellow cards for holding or pulling shirts.

    Bellingham looks tired.

Roberts is all fart and no ****.

Hume is exposed constantly due to Roberts lack of defensive play.

Rigg has misplaced pass after passing but had huffed and puffed.

It was only towards the end of the half they started to play football they way we know they can.

Call me dramatic but think that’s top 2 and arguably our season done if those two are injured
