Reheated rice in a bowl with some chicken gravy and pork fat poured into it.

It’s not quite fresh rice cooked in chicken stock but had a similar effect and spruced it up a fair bit. Will be using this one again.

That looks incredible. I had avoided paella almost the whole time I was in Valencia, assuming it to be a seafood dish. I was surprised to find out on my final night there that the original valencian paella is chicken and rabbit! Absolutely amazing, wasted all these years discarding it as I really don’t like seafood at all and the only paella you’ll ever find in Britain is seafood. Now I make it fairly often and it’s one of the nicest and easiest things to make at home that tastes like it could have been served by a good restaurant. Such a good dish.

    Yakiniku with Kimchi.

I know Yakiniku is Japanese and Kimchi is Korean but we wanted some veggies with the beef and rice.

    Wife just made lemon crumble.
The lemon filling was like the lemon from lemon meringue pie but fully enclosed in crumble served with cream.

I keep trying to lose weight and she keeps making things like this

I made a green beef curry yesterday, taste incredible, look like ****. Hard to make a curry look photogenic unless you cut carrots into flowers and rest half a tree over the top <laugh>

Tuna steaks with creme fraiche sauce, smashed potatoes and a side salad.

Note to self if your tuna's a bit beige, and your tatties are a bit beige don't make a beige sauce :emoticon-0100-smile
