They don't and haven't for probably hundreds of years. People blame the British for the ills of the Empire, but I'm British and my ancestors are from Ireland and a fishing village in Northumberland. Yet my suffering is deserved because of the Empire according to Sanjit from Mumbai.

The best part is Lindsay Graham isn't even the worst of the neocons, Victoria Nuland and Madeleine Albright spring to mind as being utterly despicable.

Pie nailing it here. Good satire is when it's hard to tell if it's real or not.

Trump a bad negotiator because more steps towards peace have been taken in his circa 50 days in office than nearly 3 years of this conflict under a Biden presidency.

Criticising an ally in Ukraine? They really aren't allies, it's a propped up state at the spear tip of American foreign policy, the dems wanted to perpetuate this after leading Ukraine down a primrose path. How anyone thinks more lives, billions of more dollars is some how the right decision here is beyond me. We're talking about regions in eastern Ukraine that haven't been aligned with the western backed and propped up Ukrainian government since the maidan in 2014.

There's a path to peace here but the perpetuated myth of the red scare is polluting the ether.

It baffles me how people can't see how nefarious her roles and responsibilities were in regards to Ukraine, US foreign policy and particularly the maidan.

Douglas MacGregor has some good analysis on these people, if anyone is interested in further reading/listening.

Not sure why it warrants a '**** off' and this is the problem with this, people cant discuss.

If you take a moment of your time and go over the BBC you'll see an article in which they elaborate on the meetings that went down in Saudi between the US and Russia, the meetings in Munich between the US and the EU and the phone call between Putin and Trump, all in the past 3 weeks.

There were discussions about peace that the US did not partake in in March/April 2022, mediated by Turkey and Biden didn't once speak to Putin.

Unfortunately I think it's a another case of orange man derangement syndrome because whilst nothing has been decided yet and there's nothing to really twist over, people are still slandering a proposed peace. Laughable really, where does a few hundred thousand more deaths and 100 billion of capital get us?

    Shameful.

It’s more shameful surrendering mineral rich and strategic land to invaders intent on a land grab to be honest. And the fact they raped and murdered their way across these lands is even worse.

I remember seeing Russian soldiers shooting up civilian cars on motorways, survivors getting out those cars and then being shot where they stood. I remember them bombing a theatre in Mariupol clearly marked Children.

I’ve seen bodies of kids stacked in rooms stripped of clothes.

These are Nazi like actions and we can’t just forget and forgive and give Russia what they want surely.

Internet forums, in the 1940's, would've have people posting the same defences of the invading aggressor as they are now.

Personal interests can blind the best of us.

People just seem to ignore the massive acts of torture, murder and genocide Russia gets up to. They’ve literally kidnapped children to dilute the population and folk are shouting for elections in Ukraine. It’s unbelievable

The US shaking Ukraine down for remuneration for aid sent during war time while the war effort is still ongoing is absolutely unthinkable.

The US is simply no longer suitable as an ally for any progressive country that believes in any form of morality.

    They are a disgrace.

And this is the real issue. Across the globe we have leaders who the public don't trust or leaders who have gained power through force or birthright. The common man/Woman has no chance as what they are fed o a daily basis is lies wrapped up with more lies and in between is sandwiched a modicum of truth. Brexit was the typical example of this.
It consisted of in fighting and political jostling for credit points at the polls and bugger the public for wanting some real information. It was political grandstanding and had no bearing on our or Europe's future. 20 year old smack rats voting to leave because we will be in charge of our borders (Rule Britannia) and stop all the foreigners stealing our jobs when most of them have not got a days work in them (they still spout this **** even now especially about 14:00 in the local whilst spending the family allowance).
The people voted and they got what they wanted but in truth I don't think that there was truthful or meaningful discussion to educate the masses on this decision. Even a smack rat will vote for the best given the right information, sadly this was not the case here or in general in world politics.
I could go on about Putin, Trump and Zelensky and the whole war but think I may be best to stop here as my views may not be to everybody's taste.
