Absolutely battered Boro first half but cannot score. Boro get a rare chance and Conway scores. Going to bite Bristol City FC on the ass big time not getting proven goalscorers in this season. Goals win games and we just can’t score em.
This is about as typical of Bristol City where we look weak across the field and then give up the away goal to Conway. Does anyone think we will ever get a talented prospect and actually hold on to them to boost our chances of success or will we just sell the jewels and make do with second rate? If I were a bright young player with great ambitions the last place I would want to be is at Ashton Gate or if I had no choice I would want to leave at the first decent offer from anywhere else. Ambition is non-existent at our place and the football we have played for decades is testament to that sad fact. Will we come back to win or will we just play out the time trying to look good?
