We have played a lot better last 2 games without winning. This could become a very important week though. Lose to either Carlisle or Morecambe and we could still be in a relegation dogfight. However if we don't lose to both we should be ok. Win and we should be looking back up the table. Carlisle 1Gills 1 McKenzie
Not sure what's gone wrong at Carlisle, although maybe the signs for what was to come was evident in our 4-1 home win against them back in August. Neither of us have had good fortunes since. Carlisle are heading to the National League unless they find a change in form, while the Gills have seen a change in form the last two games... Carlisle 0 Gills 2 (Morgan, Hawkins)
Not quite sure I was watching the same game as everyone else last Saturday, but I thought we were S$£%E after the Walsall match. Nevitt and Dack should never be on the team. McKenzie, what a screamer, first and last for a while. Not consistent. We need 10 other Gayles, his attitude when he won a throw-in is what we need. He had won the World Cup. Sadly he will be gone soon to a much higher league. Mark Hughes has taken over as manager and looks to have them motivated, If we win IFFFF WE WIN 1-0 BUT a win is the only result and I don't think we are good enough mentally. I have calls in the morning to Australia and a VIP meeting at midday. We have a massive cycle race that cuts off my route home. So hopefully I won't see the match and waste another 90 minutes of my life. I sadly cannot see after 60+ years as a loyal supporter anything else than Div 2 we have the lowest supporter level than any other team in Div 2 So all I see is the closure of GFC and a bunch of highrise flats. Which is about as high as we will ever go from this date
