yes, that is exactly it. they can defend a bit better with 11 rather than 3 stood wathcing the rest try defend. they are still not great. we have to show up and win the tie but anfield last is huge for us again. It will be villa in the QF then. villa would be embaressed not to be in the qf TBH

I don't generally care who we get in knock outs but that stance has changed a little I don't care as long as it's not Real Madrid.
don’t mind psg, is what it is. what hate is fact that could then get Villa and then Arsenal. Hate playing English teams in Europe, play them in the prem, want to play diff teams in the Cl. fingers crossed psv and Brugge get through albeit Arsenal having something else to concentrate on might be of benefit
I'm still trying to work out the new CL arrangement and whether it's better or not and indeed, what does 'better' mean here. Topping the mini league gets you PSG and finishing 8th gets you Brugge! Not to mention playing our strongest II in 8 pretty low key games. No wonder they look cream crackered.
