CAFC needs to be bought by a Saudi sheikh or a billionaire from UAE / Qatar /Dubai.

The Club would still pay lip service to equality for all, but concerned fans could be reassured that the owners didn't really mean it.
And the women's team would cease to be a financial burden on the Club, which would have unlimited real cash available.

The women's team would doubtless be retained, but only as sports-washing window dressing.
Still, who cares? We'd be f**king rich :emoticon-0159-music

    I’d take that without hesitation.

Every other club does it, so should we.

Have to be winning a game like this. Still playing like dogs for large periods of the game but doing enough to get wins and less ozone layer football too which is nice.

Exeter have been conceding a lot of goals over the past six weeks, a game that should see a home win.

Apparently we’ve got to make the difference in matchday 32 by “cheering on the lads” :emoticon-0148-yes:

As if 2,000 fans minus Hawtrey of course were silent for 90 mins at Birmingham yesterday in matchday 31.

    Some midweek fixtures...

    18 Feb.png

Top 6 teams bordered in red.

I would expect wins for Huddersfield, Wycombe and Wrexham, but Orient are in great form.

    Bump!

Just to avoid this thread dropping off page 1.
This should be a routine 3 points against the struggling Grecians, at the Salmon Trousers Arena, Floyd Road SE7.

I believe that it’s going to be renamed as the Sqwarka xG Valley, after multiple overnight representations from one individual.

We're consistently poor in the first half. That has to change. We get away with it against the weaker teams but if the stronger teams get their nose in front we lack the guile or variety to come from behind. We need to take a leaf out of Orient's book and go for it early on.

Yes, it's a given now at the 0-0 at Half Time Stadium that you won't miss a Charlton goal should you get in a bit late.

It should be a home win at the 'let's see where we are' stadium.

I'd like to see Leaburn and Gilbert in for TC and Berry but it will be the same team. Do we really need a left wing back and a left winger, which is TC'S default position?

These are the two changes the team is crying out for. It’s so blatantly obvious now after last week. TC has two assists & one goal all season, which is criminal for a player in that position, particularly in the third tier.
Gilbert is a decent crosser & takes a good dead ball …let’s deploy him from the start today.

Leaburn was actually quite useful when playing wide and drifting in, more to him than just a big target man. But I'll be surprised if we don't play an unchanged team.
