It is nice to start seeing apprehension surrounding Trump's presidency on here but nothing can change his warped sense of world order and the worst part is that he won't change unless someone does it for him. The U.S. military has always been visible in one way or another to stick it's nose into conflicts, whether they were asked or not, and under this presidency who knows what may happen and it's the unknown that is the biggest fear. The world now has two of the biggest liars to deal with and how on earth Trump feels he has the right to deal on behalf of Ukraine beggars belief but is a true measure of the man who only cares about himself, rather like Putin. Thankfully there are politicians within the Republican party who absolutely abhor what Trump has done in his first 30 days, including the hiring of another nasty in Elin Musk, and fear for what he might do next. The problem with Trump detractors is they are fearful of rocking his boat for fear of reprisals against their families, a common problem in Russia, and unless they stand up and be counted this man will run roughshod over his nation. The cuts he has already made to their version of the Civil Service are horrendous and tens of thousands of people are now unemployed and the talk on the street is that he intends to use the savings to feather the nests of himself and associates by giving them huge tax concessions along with other yet unknown bonuses. Many Republican politicians were absolutely disgusted with the speech from Vance in Europe and how all of the supposed peace talks in Saudi Arabia focused on Russian needs and didn't even mention Ukraine. I hope Ukraine will not entertain any deal reached by these Russia/U.S. meetings and counts more on the rest of NATO and Europe because it has become blatantly evident that only wants a deal that suits himself and it looks more likely everyday that he's after minerals. What will happen if Russia and the U.S. make their own deal for the future of Ukraine without any sanction from Zelensky, will the U.S. back Putin to finish it off in his brutal way? The United States should only be involved in these discussions in combination with European leaders but as we all know Trump will always want to control the narrative, and that's bad on every front. In a slightly different part of the world the knobhead wants to turn destroyed Gaza into a luxury resort for Americans and if you are interested in how that would look I suggest a quick trip to Mexico and see how they take over the places and turn them into America Mark2. leaving anything Mexican outside the fortified gates. I could go on all day with my concerns about this new presidency but only time will tell where he will take us and the rest of the world and it will take all Americans to wake up and smell the stench coming from his mouth every day to see his actual agenda.
