My daughter insisted i watch it with her and it was pretty good (has to be to keep me interested). I guess there will be a second season as there was a lot of unanswered plot lines left open.
If you haven't already, try Reservation Dogs for a series which reflects Native Americans in a positive light.
Have you seen The English with Emily Blunt ? Well worth it if you like American Western type stuff I think it's on Amazon
Yea, it is on Amazon. Thanks NT, i'll give that a go. For people who are interested, Reacher series three has just landed on Amazon.
Another thumbs up here for American Primeval. Bleak at times but enjoyable - in saying that I liked reading the Grapes of Wrath and The Road - so maybe I like bleak things
I’ve never been able to get past the first episode or two of Reacher. It gets decent reviews - maybe something I need to stick with??
Try getting through episode three, might just be it. I find it easy viewing so if I can't find owt else, Reacher it is.
Gaucho gaucho Documentary on I player about Argentinian cowboys and their way of life Interesting way of life Worth a watch just to see the determined young lass who wants to be a gaucho
Anyone excited for the remake of 'the running man'? I'm just rereading the book (set in 2025)...and it's so much better in the book. Don't even know why they changed the reason he was in the show.
I finished watching Stay Close on Netflix last night, another Netflix drama based on a Harlan Coben book. It was pretty much like all the other Harlan Coben stories, a mystery story with lots of twists and turns and some really daft bits (and I'm not a big James Nesbitt fan). Overall I thought it was fairly average. I also watched The Walk In on Netflix last week, not sure how I missed this one when it was on ITV in 2022. It's the true story of the journalist for Hope Not Hate (played by Stephen Graham) who foiled the National Action (British neo-nazis) plot to murder Rosie Cooper MP. Like pretty much everything with Stephen Graham in, it was well worth a watch.
