And one league title for FC in 40 years, not exactly prolific in a 12 team competition are they?

I think Challege Cup victories count as silverware old boy.
I am happy to be corrected.

Oh yeah the one where you win 3 games and you're in the final, not exactly the same as winning the league or the Grand final.

He mentioned how long it was since they won the League, which was 42 years. Rovers have won it more recently, a mere 40 years ago. Neither have won the Grand Final. This is the city that an overexcited commentator on SKY before the KR game announced is the rugby city.
And the HDM refers to as the capital of rugby.

I don't see City's trophy cabinet overflowing with silverware :emoticon-0145-shake
You appear to be shooting your load over the rugby more than anyone else on here you old shag.

We don’t play in Cup competitions where you play a pub team and 2 more to get to the final. Or against teams from places with a smaller population than Scarborough.

Still no photos to share of your visit to Perpignan?

I am retiring Vern for good.
Having said that I will return for season 2025/6 with a new identity.
I can guarantee no more posts from Vern and if I do I will donate £500 to a charity of your choice.

We will still hear plenty from you. Don’t forget to continue not using capitals and full stops in your other persona.

    Rugby City

Rovers first home game - over 11k

FC first home game - already 14k tickets sold

bearing in mind some people will be attending both Rugby and Football - for a city the size of Hull getting combined attendances of circa 50k is a great achievement

Rovers 2 from 2....Hull errrrrrrr....lets wait and see.
Not a massive egg-chaser....by any stretch, but these cloth-head Hull lot digging out of there shirts and jumpers from the 'not wearing that again', drawer makes me laugh. Knuckle draggers.
