Today Chump has put a 25% tariff on most Canadian goods crossing the border into the U.S. for no other reason that he feels he can bully us into submission which is something he is very good at doing to anyone and everybody he feels like threatening. The Canadian government and industry will fight back with various sanctions against the U.S. such as refusing to ship any oil and natural gas along with many other products that, despite the jerk from the south saying that they don't need our products, will seriously damage the ability of manufacturing companies south of the border to complete their processes. When you consider that our two countries have lived together in unison for almost two centuries and our soldiers have fought and died together in the fight to keep democracy and sensibility alive it sickens me to see one arsehole try to change the dynamics with no thought as to the repercussions. The president was fairly elected but I hope all the people who wanted him despite all his serious faults to run their country eventually I hope they will see through the thin veneer that is trying to hide his true agenda which is to be crowned King of North America which includes Canada and Greenland. He even blamed Biden for the air disaster in Washington and then continued to use the tragedy to try and gain brownie points giving little thought to how the families were grieving. Sad sad man.
The world keeps on turning and Chump keeps mouthing hate and brow beating other countries trying to intimidate them into submission and of course front and centre in that mire is Canada. The tariffs that he intends to levy against us and other countries is again designed to affect the economy of Canada but the idiot hasn't got a clue as to what they would do to American industry. Canada ships about 80% of it's aluminium production to the U.S. for the auto and appliance industries but we have a plan to stop all of that business and look for better and more settled customers who are more than willing to buy Canadian products. An all out trade war is never a good thing but already the gloss is wearing off the teflon buffoon as the Americans although agreeing with some of his policies, without any specifics, during the election run-up are now upset at how far he is prepared to go to get his own way and some of his new post election specifics are becoming quite Hitleresque. The illegal immigrant deportations are going ahead under the jackboot of the new regime and the saddest thing is that families are getting separated just the same as in his last term and it will continue as long as he wants despite some serious failings. This bit about Canada becoming the 51st state of the U.S.A. is now becoming more insulting by the hour and his reference to Trudeau being the governor of the great state of Canada must stop before it becomes even more threatening rhetoric from that man down there. It will only be a matter of time before the world sees in glorious blood red what this man is truly capable of doing to anyone at anytime and having Musk by his side to do whatever he is supposed to do, other than enriching himself and Chump on the way to making the U.S. a virtual dictatorship. The time to see the whole picture will develop over the next 4 years and when you hear whispers about the election system changing for the better it will only mean that someone has the entire country by the chunkies and won't let go. Democracy is a thing of the past if Trump (there I said his name) and his wealthy flunkies backed up by the armed militias that are throughout the country have their greedy and evil way because the right to vote will only go to the chosen few and the real Americans can go find a back passage in which to hide and basically fornicate themselves.
It is plainly obvious that the world order is changing and Chump's election was well known to be an attack on his version of democracy which means he wants total control of everything and everybody that has the nerve to oppose him. You only have to look seriously at his choices of top brass (none of whom have been elected by the people) to see his intent and the changing rhetoric we hear from him each day ad nauseum. Now he is saying that Europe should play no part in the Ukraine/Russia peace talks only because he thinks he can control Putin in such a way that it would be beneficial to the world and the U.S.A.. Having POTUS anywhere near these discussions will create havoc and an irrational unwarranted piece of a difficult issue, especially with that being Trump. I listened to Zelensky stating that Europe needs it's own methods of dealing with Putin's clear attempt to destabilize the continent and if you expect the U.S. to offer a sensible and fair solution then you need to step back and smell the roses. A united Europe is the answer to Putin but all countries have to agree but given the political landscape of today tells me that certain nasties will possibly tend to side with the wrong guy in the Kremlin. Some of the old Soviet bloc countries are well known to be in favour of a return of that controlling system of government. Trump is a brash out of control psychopath waiting to grab as much power as he can over the next four years and his ambitions don't stop at Canada and Greenland and I am waiting for the well known phrase of "I have no more territorial ambitions" spouted by the nice Herr Hitler all those years ago and look where that went in promise keeping. Putin and Trump are liars of repute and the worst scenario is that they both actually believe their own ridiculous fantasies and it will take a unified and common front to stop or slow down the insanity that faces us and the universe during the reign of Donald Trump because his ambitions don't include anyone else, unless you are family and friends. Beware the Ides of March said someone and you can add another couple of players to the list.
When you see the other people that Trump has brought into the supposed peace plan it is clearly obvious that he won't deal with anyone who disagrees that he is his own god. How on earth he feels he has the right to go off in his own direction saying that Europe will have no say in the terms of peace beggars belief and shows in an even more sinister way that he wants to work with the nasties of this world and to hell to the rest of the peace loving crowd. He is even more interested in precious metals which we (Canada) and Greenland have in abundance which would give the U.S. a ready source without China being involved. Perhaps if he got off his high horse on tariffs and worked on a decent trade deal that would work for all concerned parties we could all be in a better place, rather than listening to his sickening threats every time he opens his mouth. Europe doesn't fit into Trumps plan of taking what he wants and it looks like the U.S. can no longer be deemed to be a friendly nation and I would expect him to up the ante in the attack on Canada which has already started with his tax threats knowing he could cripple our economy to say the least. The arse that calls himself veep (Vance) is no better and his comment about there being a new sheriff in town went over like a lead balloon in front of well versed statesmen who have more knowledge in their little fingers than he has in his entire body. It is amazing that only a year or so ago he thought his new boss was a pariah that American politics could well do without (the only words of his that I believe), but now he has found a way to creep into his job by kowtowing to the Donald man and therefore is now a yes man afraid of his own shadow. Sad times coming for us In Canada and the rest of the world needs to up it's ante to overcome his idiocy and his threat to democracy.

Living so close to Trump country possibly gives me a great insight into how the man and U.S. politics in general have taken a very bad turn towards dictatorship south of the 49th parallel. He is now really starting to show his stripes over the Ukraine war and how on earth he can say Zelensky started the war himself by apparently not bending over for Putin prior to the invasion. We are really starting to see more of his animosity towards Canada and today I read an article whereby the NOAA (federal weather predictors) has been essentially banned from talking to our forecasters without express consent from the very top and that means only one person. The Great Lakes are administered by both countries but I suspect strongly that Trump will want to change that agreement in the future and I suspect also that his threat to take over Canada is not something to ignore and if we do so it will be at our own peril. He has now become the Putin/Hitler look alike in his ridiculous statements about everything and anything just to keep his name up there in lights. Europe will soon come under even greater attacks by Trump and if his second-in-command is anything to go by you can expect greater co-operation between the U.S. and Russia which therefore sums up the ridiculousness of the new regime in the U.S.A.. The only hope for any redemption from all of this lies deep in the figures that show quite dramatically how low Trump has fallen in the polls, including with some key Republicans, and it's only a matter of time (I hope) before all Americans wake up to where this man wants to take their country. During the electioneering he made many rash very vague statements but the way he is following up on those questionable promises has visibly shaken some Americans to the core. The only friends that concern Trump are the nasty people who, like him, are trying to take over the democratic world for personal gratification and greed. The time will come when he runs out of these supposed friends both internally and externally and his time in the limelight could diminish but like Putin that may never happen due to fear and intimidation, because that's how bullies work their evil. The world is in a dark place right now with all of the conflicts going on around the globe and the last thing we need is more Donald Trump types to make it all worse.

The proverbial pot calling the kettle black has been spoken by the Chump who has just today announced quite publicly that he is the true king of the U.S.. I said that it was one of his intentions in an earlier post, but with one major difference, and that is he really wants to be King of North America and the problem is he is trying very well to stop all opposition to his presidency from those who dare oppose him. He is going all out to shut down all sectors that offer a sensible view of where America and the rest of the world goes from here, but the eventual dictatorship that he is creating for his own personal use will try and shut down all future elections and if he can't do that he will rig all of the individual states electoral college voters to be republicans only. Those electoral college voters are the final hurdle before the inauguration and are essentially the rubber stamp to confirm the real vote but if they can be only republicans they will overturn the vote no matter that the majority voted differently. Now if that isn't the start of a dictatorship then I scratch my head as it certainly looks that way to me and a lot of others. Life for all is about to get rough as long as this thug is leading the way to the destruction of our belief in humanity and this one man has enough inhumanity to make the world a very bad place as he will play anyone for a fool until they really find out his evil agenda. The American population were warned by most other countries and politicians that Trump was vying to shut down all opposition and eventually creating his own kingdom but sadly they wouldn't listen to common sense even given that the Biden/Harris/The second VP team would not work out. Donald is now starting to attack Zelensky in reprisal for him being the main focus in one of the attempts to impeach Trump when he tried to blackmail Zelensky unless he provided damning evidence against Hunter Biden, and now for having that say Zelensky is being punished and berated by an arse. Do you remember that is wasn't so long ago that Trump said that the U.S. would leave NATO and leave Europe and Ukraine to defend themselves against Putin without any backup from him, well here we are with that threat looking more like a reality than fake news. Perhaps the combined armies of the U.S. and Russia will join forces to invade Canada via Alaska and divvy up Canada and Greenland for it's critical minerals and oil and even if that sounds a bit Orwellian you must remember we are talking about a maniac who has no thought for anyone other than himself. No point ending the war if a proper peace deal isn’t in place, give Russia what they’ve stolen without proper checks and a couple of years time they’ll rearm and go again. What Trump doesn’t understand is Putin and Russia are laughing at him, giving them all they want, and believing their lies.

RUSSIA as is didnt want to lose any of the countries it had "impounded into the USSR" ESPECIALLY A COUPLE THAT WERE QUITE PROSPEROUS AREA'S ........... UKR was corrupt, I spoke to many many UKRANIANS, and quite a few from Georgia and other states. UKR got it's corruptness from the pro Russia supporters, bit like Iran supporting various groups,their elections were always fixed or interferred with? A lot has been written surrounding the difficulties around 2010 - 2016. Russia needed to try to dethrone Zelensky [ 2022 ] because finally the people had managed to beat the rigged elections and VZ was elected and started the long road to getting rid of the corrupt oligarch's / people in "higher places" .. Russia's puppets. 3 of the worlds [ now ] biggest "rare earth's" with the advent of electric cars is within UKRAINE...
