Ha! Nah, it's beautifully shot with great characters and casting. The humour is dry and distinctly British. Each series is completely fresh, so you won't have missed anything by joining it now.
Agree mate, watched the Sicily one before we went and recognised lots of locations around Taormina, next series is Thailand.
The fat blonde won’t be in it as she got killed off in serious 2 I think the Mrs said but to be honest I don’t really listen to her so she could of been talking about anyone….
Just thinking about it, thematically, and humour-wise there's a lot of similarities with the film 'Triangle Of Sadness', which you may both enjoy if you are yet to see it.
Yeah, it's a pity it stops so early. Maybe a sequel coming For me it made a nice change from the recent raft of Queen (which I really enjoyed), Elton John, etc films which carry poetic licence. As you say, this was interesting and technical, which is what I enjoyed ... along with some great music I hadn't listened to for many years. It's incredible how so many of these British bands conquered the world in the way they did back then. It is a documentary not a LZ version of the Bohemian Rhapsody film though, so be aware of that if not already.
They are rerunning Homicide Life OnThe Street on SKY Atlantic. Remastered for UHD. Holds up well for a programme set in a time where there are no mobile phones. A lot of people in it that then went on to parts in other programmes.
Going with “ the gorge “ tonight, I’ve been stopped from watching it over this last week but tonight not a ****ing chance lol
I generally do 2wubble U’s, eating a large bag of cheese and onion crisps as I was making a spag Bol earlier had my Mrs fuming lol, what is her problem, it was my starter…
“ The gorge “ has just finished, I really enjoyed it but I do have a soft spot for Anya Taylor-joy, like miles teller also but not in the same way lol. I’ll not put anything about the film as I’m known for giving out way too many clues about a movie, famous in my family for doing it, “ the butler did it “ etc. certainly worth a Cpl of hours of your time.
I’ve just finished watching the second series of Temple on Netflix. I thought the first series was a bit silly, but a fairly decent watch, but the second was really silly. I was glad to get to the end of it and hope they don’t make a third. Watched American Primeval on Netflix as well, fairly grim, but I quite enjoyed it. Quite rare to see a US drama where the Native Americans are fairly decent people and the Mormons are the savages.
Didn't like the look of Temple so gave it a miss, thanks for proving me right. Loved AP, love those gritty films and series, hoping they make series two now.
