he probably is worth more than £10m to the right team.. been as good as Brownhill!? BUT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BUILDING! .......... Anis is developing into a £value, and before to late club needs to revitalise some of the contracts so this squad has best players together for next 2 or 3 seasons at least
division now beginning to EOS positions top 4 to be the 2 up with potentially the third one barring a seriously bad run of form or amazing run of good from one lower down ... and bottom 3 all but decided potentially needing 7 points to get above water line 2 games less played by teams above
You can’t force players to sign contracts though, take Conway as an example, I know we probably shot ourselves in the foot by messing him about, but if a player sees us as purely a stepping stone there really isn’t a great deal we can do, it frustrates the hell out of me, but isn’t helped by our lack of ambition
the time to do it when there is 2 years to go [ 1 +1 ] following the season you are in! "present season of play" should wait till it is just +1 then it has 2 sides [ say offering another 2+1 or 3 plus 1 ] player waits out that season and signs with a large signing on fee plus good wages. Player is looking at whole new period in one go say 3 +1! signing for 2 +1 with 2 still to run would men he would be on contract till 5 years have passed! .. but waiting and he signs a 3 +1 after the 2 years have passed means it is a further 7 years before contract is up ... or of course he left for free running it down after "the present season"

Football violence in the heart of Cardiff sparks 'bubble fixture' debate A difference in opinion over fan travel has reportedly been brewing for some time https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...otball-violence-heart-cardiff-sparks-31041529
It’s not a good look for either club whichever side was responsible for starting this Seems like old habits die hard
Hirakawa makes permanent Bristol City switch https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce8mxnm4glxo
I thought this as soon as I read about the incident. It’s a shame but I also understand it. I wouldn’t bother going to a ‘bubble’ match. For me, seeing something of the locality, having a beer, meeting and chatting football with the locals is all part of the away day experience - especially if you’ve travelled a long way. I really like Cardiff the city. It’s a very beautiful place and easy to get to - and the people I’ve met there have all been great. I’m not really into Rugby but I’ve been there when a big international game has been on (Wales v South Africa) and the buzz was amazing with lots of beer being consumed but with no trouble at all. With Cardiff v Bristol City there will always be the local derby rivalry. Add to that you have the Wales v England rivalry - and bad history between the two sets of fans who have an unpleasant reputation for violence at that fixture (plus the reverse fixture) you can see the bubble coming. The ironic thing is that it’s probably only about 10-20 idiots from both sides that ruin it for everyone else.
Bristol City urged to follow Brighton and Brentford route as Premier League prediction is made https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...eague-prediction-made-with-play-offs-in-mind/
I watched Sheffield United lose last night and they brought on Connor, a striker, who cost them £10milliin. On last nights showing Armstrong looks a better bet. And when will we ever spend £10million ?
