Steve and Karen love it in Scotland and their girls have settled there very well. I wouldn’t wish the Welsh job on him with the current circumstances: the inevitable media and social media noise if things didn’t improve on the pitch would be terrible for him and Karen

At home I might have given us a slight chance but out there they'll be really up for this, knowing they are favourites.
So Gatland has gone - Inevitable really ….. When he was reappointed, his job was to get us out of the RWC Pool against the Aussies and Fijians. He achieved that - lost somewhat unluckily in some respects to the Pumas in Marseille in the Quarter Final (as Max Boyce would say ‘I know ‘coz I was there!). That would have been the best / right time for him to have walked away, with his head held high and his legacy largely intact. A sad ending for a guy who helped Wales punch above its weight for a period of time - albeit his record against the Southern Hemisphere’s ’Big 3’ was distinctly average: we still haven’t beaten the ABs in my lifetime …. and probably won’t now…..

Surprised Dan Edwards is not at least on the bench tomorrow. Better looking side though and hopefully a decent performance at least.
Unusually not looking forward to this. Praying the boyos have enough about them to make a respectable show of it. But if they go down quick in first half tv will be going off again !
