Plus the deep foundations holding the cables in place. I'm smelling bullshit anyway, given the cost of landfill tax (£125+ a ton) and asbestos will be far costlier. :emoticon-0138-think

Wouldn't have been able to spread if they'd left all that asbestos in...

I'm sure I have told this story on here before, anyway

Many years ago I dismantled an asbestos garage. Rang the council to check if their sites would take it. Yes.

On advice from the council, I turned up at the waste site with a dismantled asbestos garage embalmed in visqueen and gaffer tape.
Waiting for me at the asbestos "bunker" was a full ppe clad operative. Hazmat suit, full face mask. Like chatting with Darth Vadar.
"You get all this gear from Arco?"
    Yeah why?
You know what Arco stands for?
    No
I would say his face was a picture but the raspy distorted, ya joking, from the mask more than made up for it.

The singer in the dark shirt looked like he was concentrating on controlling a turtle's head.

Saw them a few times. Always put on a good show. Knew Brid Spa booking manager back in those days. They were his go to group when there was a gap to fill in or someone dropped out as they were reliable and always performed well. Better than a lot of bigger name groups. There were always 3,500 - 4,000 in the Spa on a Saturday night in those days.

I see the Sunday Times have said that HU1 is one of the coolest postcodes in the country to live in.
