Gotta be honest I think Maddison’s a really good player. I just don’t think he’s playing in his primary position and the intensity of the system also results in player inconsistency too. There’s a few others in a similar boat to him too in my opinion and it’s why I’m not overly piling in on some of the players as I think the manager can do more for them.

Maddison is still dishing out some impressive numbers though, our top scorer in the league this season. 9 league goals from midfield is actually a brilliant return, especially with 13 left to play. Stick him permanently behind the striker in his favoured number ten role and I think he’d really thrive.

Maddison isn’t consistent enough for me and his whole career has been like that. It’s why he’s never been picked up by a top side even though he has talent.

Not a patch on Eriksen for me.

Think he is nowhere near as good as he's made out to be IMHO.
I was pleasantly surprised when he first came but his performances since returning from injury have been pretty meh.
Thought he was very good yesterday and if he continues like that he'll prove me wrong ... so here's hoping <cheers>

What an insult to Teddy, to be vaguely compared to Maddison.

He did put the tapi-in in the net unlike some others from various teams.

    Images you can hear

And the sound is teeth gritting because the tweet they had ready to post for most of last week had to be quietly deleted

There was no "point" to miss.

Try harder next time to make a much better attempted analogy.

<laugh> Confirming, as I said, you missed the point. Never mind, Maddison's tap in made 3 points and that is the important point.

You and I share a football team, so we do have one point in common. :emoticon-0128-hi:

Bloody hell 23,000 Spurs fans on one site!!! That'll be a vale of tears. I can just about cope with the negativity on here, but over 20.000 thousand?
I might be tempted to have a look when we win a game <laugh>

That's almost twice the population of Eastbourne

Similar can be said for Eastbourne

More churn in residents than our training ground during Harry Redknapp's tenure
