Damn straight. It’s actually quite refreshing being on this side of the fence. Things may stay this way.
I’m struggling to fit that word into any possible sentence so whoever did is either a genius or a mad man.
The word steadfast comes from the Old English word stedefæst, which means "standing firm". The irony is that "fast" is part of the word, when it means not moving.
It's not that unusual a word Despite relentless pressure from the opposing team, the defense remained steadfast, preventing any goals.
I know I played it with my grandparents when I was younger but didn't think I've played it in at least 25 or more years. I know I enjoyed it
The thing for me is we’re in a period of time where two traditionally decent clubs - Man U and Spurs - are poor. Then you have Chelsea in transition, City having a mini crisis. Yet here we are in ****ing 7th. We’ve had so much potentially go our way but are watching as Bournemouth and Forest capitalise. It’s just a bit irritating.
Definitely frustrating. I asked the question yesterday whether we felt the season has been a good one. People see the final appearance as a means of success rating. I think it’s been a 7/10 so far.
But then chaos made a fair point that we have I think the 7th highest wage bill, so 7th is right! And then a cup final as well means again we are probably actually over achieving. Frustrating is the right word. But it’s very hard to argue that it’s all bad even though it can feel like it.
