Just got to thinking wouldn’t it be ironic if the league ended up as 1963/64 Leeds champions us as creditable runners up - wouldn’t it be lovely , here’s hoping!!!
Only team who dominated us this season was Preston, don't think we had more than one chance and I remember Preston missing 3 good chances inside first 20 mins.
I think they were the best side we have seen here this season but deffo not comfortably the better side.
I'd agree with you both ... ... tbf though, I did say 'He knows we've not been totally dominated by any top club this season.' We often struggle more against teams who raise their game and those with less to lose imo.
Sky Sports report doesn't agree with you https://www.skysports.com/football/...rror-to-earn-regis-le-bris-black-cats-a-point
Really interested to see the lineup tomorrow night. Formation? Which centre back pairing will we go with? Who plays wide? Who plays midfield? I wouldn't be surprised to see a Jobe-Samed-Neil midfield combination.
This is not meant as a go at you but I am really curious. In this thread you seem to be praising the likes of Leeds, Sheff Utd and Burnley over Sunderland. Yes they're ahead of us in the table but they're not out of reach. I would just like to know why you're favouring them over Sunderland. We're in a great position and not one of the teams have seriously dominated us when we've played them this season
That’s certainly not the case. I only say an opinion, everyone is entitled to one. I’m delighted with our season…
