It's because of the amount people who leave 5mins before half time and take the same amount to come back after half time for a beer etc... people whine constantly about people leaving 5mins before the end of games but never mention the ones leaving 5mins before half time and coming back late.
The half time exodus happens everywhere. They should come round with beer dispensers like they do in Germany then you wouldn’t have to get up.
people wouldn't need to leave on 40 mins if someone with half a brain was running the kiosks at half time, yesterday in south was ridiculous.....again....stood for 20 mins in a barely moving queue whilst the people serving all stand waiting for some fries to come out, I missed Norwich's goal yesterday and I left bang on the HT whistle
I remember early days of the KC/MKM getting threatened with eviction if I didn't move the other side of the barrier stopping you see the pitch from the concourse. The match hadn't even started
The staff are slow as ****. I’ve stopped getting anything at half-time now. I’ll only get something if I get to the ground early before kick-off. The atmosphere is dreadful at home. Has been for ages.
We aren't relegated yet are we ? We aren't even in the bottom 3 We might stay up , we might not , bit early to throw the towel in
It's not so much about yesterday's match, although it was yet another one where we fail to win at home, where we fail to hang on to a lead, where we fail to create many chances nor to score more than 1. Norwich are a decent side, but that said, the table shows the fact that they are 'only' a mid-table side - smack on mid-table, not one of the top Championship sides this season. It's just a continuation, with no real sign of marked improvement if we're honest / realistic. Cardiff game is massive.
I agree. And not throwing the towel in. There's still many saying along the lines of "yeah, doesn't look good, but we'll be fine". I just keep questionning will it, why will it, where will the needed goals come from, etc. I previously thought we'd be fine, up until fairly recently, I just don't really see it anymore. (And not suicidal or anything , just discussing on a football message board). Anyway .... off for a walk now
But this is what I don’t get - why did you think we’d be safe before and not now? Under Walter our points per game was lower and we were in the bottom 3. Selles has got us out the bottom three and our points per game has increased. We are better. We need to be better over the next 14 games than we have been over the last 4 but still - we aren’t in as bad a place as we have been this season.
I know Coyle’s got a lot of stick recently but one of the glaring things about him is how off-balance he always looks. It’s strange as he’s not even a tall or stocky lad. I don’t know but the way he receives the ball and passes looks so telegraphed and awkward. His work-rate and desire to drive down the wing are his main strengths. Think he’d be better as a wingback in a back five more than anything.
I’ve often wondered if he has one leg shorter than the other , he never looks comfortable with the ball or recieving it
I don’t know what it is but his movement and posture doesn’t remind me of a footballer. He looks too wooden and tensed up. Some footballers just have weird atypical gaits. Sorry for gaitshaming.
